PHOENIX – Two men thought to have been acting suspicious aboard a flight bound for Phoenix were detained and questioned by federal anti-terrorism authorities before they were released, the FBI said Sunday.

Transportation Security Administration officials said passengers aboard U.S. Airways Flight 192 from Orlando, Fla., on Saturday night reported that two men, described as Middle Eastern, were acting strangely and talking loudly to each other in a foreign language.

It is the “Red Circle” theory. It draws our attention away from the real action that is to be undertaken.

Our presumption of innocence has been revoked. Why else are we subjected to these searches and rude behaviour by some of the TSA personnel in airports.
By chance have you been though Dulles? Have you taken note of how many Muslims are working TSA in the security lines as well as the check in lines?

Good ol’ TSA - wrong plane, wrong guys, wrong days. Who in H would fly these days?

You really think that’s funny? You should be ashamed of yourself.

No, I don't think it's funny. In fact, not all sarcasm is meant to be humorous.

I think there should be heightened scrutiny applied to Muslims.

I also think we ought to "Drill here, drill now"; conserve energy; go to latest generation nuclear reactors; and kick the House of Saud to the curb.

Wahhabi funding and theology is behind a great proportion of the attacks.

Failing that, there's always the Coulter option.

Some people (the annointed chattering classes in the West being a notable exception) aren't really deterred by raised eyebrows and a sneering comment.

Cheers!

No, I'm pissed off.

US citizens -- including feeble old men, pregnant women, etc. etc. -- have no presumption of innocence, nor any *real* right to petition for redress when a unionized, minimum-wage TSA person yanks their chain.

Why shouldn't foreign Muslims flying alone at the last minute on a one-way trip paid for in cash share in the fun?

Cheers!

If you will read the article, it reported that two men, described as Middle Eastern, were acting strangely and talking loudly to each other in a foreign language.

Do you not think that “acting strangely and talking loudly to each other in a foreign language with the appearance of being Middle Eastern” would draw attention?

‘Acting strangely’ as it turns out was watching a movie, and people of all appearances talk loudly at times - you should see my family! talk about embarrassing in public!

I have no problem with that. I don’t have a problem with the guys being detained, questioned, and searched by the FBI. I don’t have a problem with profiling either.

All I did was to question why, after being detained, questioned, searched, and cleared by the FBI, should these guys be publicly named, or put on a ‘list’ as suggested here.

” Most of the erosion of liberties is due to the leftist PC charade that this isn’t due to radical ISLAM.

But we don’t have the balls to do the things which would need to be done to stop the jihad.

Cheers! “

On that I couldn’t agree more.

If things get out of hand, that’s a given. We can start but not allowing them into the country to begin with. That will slow the tide. This is survival in the long run. Go to any muslim dominated country and see how the infidels fair; not well. After all, their religion is their society; culture, business practices, legal system, food processing, etc. in fact everything, including, if sharia law is enacted, making non-muslims second-class citizens. Not a pretty picture, but survival means often by any means necessary given that is how the mohammedans, in the end, play the game.

Sounds fine by me......they’re persecuting us according to our ethnicity.

A dry run perhaps but in recent writings, they will do a coordinated attack on as many as 8 cities and not use airliners because the passengers are now fighting back.

The signs have come together just in the past few weeks:

25 Brits in jet bomb plots (returning Yemen to UK early 2010-await instructions)

MUSLIM MEN STILL MISSING FROM ISLAMBERG

Many things where we've been trying to connect the dots

Do we want to persecute them for their ethnicity?

I heard a phrase that suits this: Not all Muslims are Terrorists but all Terrorists have been Muslim

Without ethnic profiling how are we going to protect ourselves? They can put a NINE year old on the watch list, a 80 year old man in a wheelchair gets scrutinized more thoroughly then someone pacing in prayer to Allah. Come on now this is post 911, political correctness gets people killed

If it’s Jack or Bubba then you’re right

Mohammed Jack Achmed mayhaps? And there were no Muslims involved in OKC. If anyone buys that I have a camel to sell you

The interment camps were unfair. Ethnic profiling will keep us alive. It would show them we are doing something as opposed to "Inviting" them to kill us with our laxity
