PHOENIX – Two men thought to have been acting suspicious aboard a flight bound for Phoenix were detained and questioned by federal anti-terrorism authorities before they were released, the FBI said Sunday.
Transportation Security Administration officials said passengers aboard U.S. Airways Flight 192 from Orlando, Fla., on Saturday night reported that two men, described as Middle Eastern, were acting strangely and talking loudly to each other in a foreign language.

I am glad they were questioned.
Make them nervous.
A dry run perhaps but in recent writings, they will do a coordinated attack on as many as 8 cities and not use airliners because the passengers are now fighting back.

They were detained, searched, and questioned. They were found to be just a couple of ordinary passengers and rightly allowed to continue going about their business.
Do we want to persecute them for their ethnicity?

I flew today from a very small regional airport and would say TSA was working hard, but THEY NEED TO START PROFILING!
Otherwise the terrorists win by destroying our way of life.

I have some bad news for y’all, there are muslims also named John, Barbara, Steve, and Mary..... We’re going to need some seriously big internment camps, much bigger than the ones we used for those Americans that looked much too Japanese for our comfort during WW2.

‘Troll’? can’t you deal discussing differences of opinion without resorting to personal attacks? Free Republic not as homogenous as you’d like it to be? or does ‘freedom of speech’ only extend to those that parrot your personal beliefs?
...and I will wager that the number of people that are named Mohammed that are NOT terrorists is FAR greater than the number that are.... but that’s OK, let’s lock up everyone named Mohammed. We’d both be right but that doesn’t change the fact that publishing the names of passengers that have been detained, interviewed, searched, and subsequently cleared and allowed to go about their business has nothing to do with security and everything to do with bigotry.
Considering the refusal to profile potential terrorists by the powers that be, buying an airline ticket and actually flying is giving new emphasis to the old saying "you bet your life....
