I have been a law-abiding citizen all my life. I've always played by the rules. That is about to change. The early morning passage yesterday of the Senate health care bill requires every American to purchase health insurance. I refuse. I will not abide by this bill if it is passed into law. And if the government levies a fine, I will not pay it. I've had enough.
There comes a time when a line in the sand must be drawn. I've just drawn mine. I've listened to the outright lies our politicians have spouted in order to pass this legislation, which, by the way, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with government control.
Democrats declared this bill was deficit neutral. Not so, says the Congressional Budget Office. Alas, this wasn't reported until minutes after the bill passed the Senate
Dems say this bill will allow an additional 30 million people to be covered while not affecting prices. Helloo....this goes contrary to the very basic law of supply and demand.
I've had enough of the back door deals, the outright bribes, the lies, the rush, and the absolute arrogance of our elected officials who patronizingly tell me with a straight face that black is white and if I questions their wisdom, why I must be a loony tea-bagger who doesn't believe in the rule of gravity. Enough!!

I've had enough too. I've had it with this foul nickname being applied to the good folks who make up the TEA Parties.
Me too.
These gratuitous blog postings have got to stop.
Any bonehead with a keyboard is NOT necessarily the author of thread material.
Any imposed fines for not purchasing insurance should be resisted and not payed. The govt. can’t lock up hundreds of thousands of people for not paying a fine. There’s no room left in the prisons.
Resist in any way you can!! At the very least make it difficult for the Feds to get you money! Without it the’re sunk!!
How about...”we’ll buy insurance when the Congress buys theirs (from the same public companies at the same public rates).
:)
However I've already told my family that I will not comply with this 'law' under any circumstances. Nor will I pay any fine or spend a single second inside of a jail cell.
I'll die before I comply.
I look at it this way...
I don’t pay for health care, they send me to prison. There I get free health care, free food, free shelter, free clothing, and a free security system!
Anyone with a pulse and basic math skills knew there was no way this wouldn't bust the budget. You shouldn't need the CBO to tell you and anyone who claims they didn't know this is an out and out liar.
Don’t worry. Conservative news sources say the health bill breaks many constitutional amendments and states will sue the government if it is passed.
They’ll garnish wages or take property etc etc etc.
Exactly! It is infuriating!
Wait until it dawns on you that Moderates, like YOU, have caused the present problems..
How did they cause them?... By being COWARDS and/or PollyAnnas.. expecting the best of obviously in your face Traitors.. (ALL democrats)..
Just BEING a democrat is a security risk.. whether elected or in military service..
I want to punch them in the face just once!
“The govt. cant lock up hundreds of thousands of people”
Oh no? Remember a guy named Hitler?
Their push has come to our shove. We are definitely all pumped up and shove ready for 2010. Time to administer a good dose of whoopazz therapy on tyrant, arrogant Rats. Let’s roll.
our rulers are tyrants. History will not be kind to them.
ever.

I don't know what the procedure will be for collecting the fines, but I have a feeling that if you don't pay the fine then the amount will be garnished from your paycheck, much like back child support. If it's garnished from your paycheck, I suspect it will affect your credit score.
Again: This is just my guess.
That sounds fair enough. After all, if the healthcare is that good, congressmen should be queuing up to get it.
