To American conservatives everywhere: NEVER GIVE UP!

“It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.' You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.” -- Winston Churchill

In the wee hours of the morning on Christmas Eve the United States Senate skulked into their chambers under the darkness of night and passed Obamacare, a legislative nightmare that might be the most intrusive bill in American history. It not only gives the Congress complete control of one sixth of the American economy, it forces Americans to purchase health insurance under penalty of law and is a major step toward removing individual choice from healthcare. It also allows bureaucrats to make life and death health care decisions on behalf of our senior citizens.

Think not? Section 3403 of Senator Harry Reid’s amendment to the national health care bill requires that: It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.

By attaching section 3403 to his amendment Reid has made it illegal for Congress to change or repeal a specific, solitary section of the Obamacare legislation. They must keep hands off any change in the language that provides for Independent Medicare Advisory Boards.

The left cried foul and called Sarah Palin a liar after she breathed the words, “Death panels.” But there it is; Independent Medicare Advisory Boards are just another way of describing Death Panels.

In addition to Section 3403, the Senate bill requires a Super Majority to repeal any portion of the remainder of the bill. That means three fourths of the legislature must agree to revisions assuring that, should Congress experience a change in leadership in 2010, Obamacare will remain intact.

America, what have you done? The left fostered such hatred in you for the Bush administration that you voted for any change, just as long as it was a repudiation of Bush policies (which weren’t so bad in retrospect.)

You not only sent a man with Marxist leanings to the White House, you gave him a single party majority in both Houses of Congress. They proceeded to ram through at lightning speed some of the most onerous legislation we have ever seen, even though the majority of Americans were opposed.

Never mind that Section 3403 is unconstitutional, those rabid ideologues passed the bill anyway. They are willing to fall on their political swords, sacrificing their political careers, just as long as they can fundamentally change America before their passing.

Conservatives and Independents tried hard, even gathered in the nation’s streets, making speeches and carrying signs, to send a message to Congress that they did not want the health care bill. We gave it our best shot and lost that battle in the Senate. But now is not the time to surrender.

It’s time to launch a new offensive before Congress can reconcile the Senate version of the health care fiasco with the House of Representatives. Because as soon as Obama signs Oamacare into law, Congress will begin the process to pass Cap and Trade, which will plunge a dagger into the heart of America as we know it.

There were many House and Senate rules that could have been used to stall this health care travesty, but in the interest of “civility in the halls of Congress,” they didn’t use them. But the current Republican leadership doesn’t have the fire in their bellies to do whatever it takes to win. If not now, when?

We need a hardnosed strategy that can begin with lawsuits. Conservative law firms across America can challenge the legality of payments to states in return for votes. In addition, lawyers can question the constitutionality of many of the provisions within the health care bill, something that the Republicans should have done in the first place.

In the mean time, Americans can begin to phone their representatives daily and demand that they block passage of both Obamacare and Cap and Trade. Overload the system with messages. Write letters; fire off multiple emails; send telegrams; let them know that we are mad as hell.

Demand that the worst of them, those who accepted multi-million dollar payoffs for their states in exchange for their “yes” vote, immediately resign. If they won’t resign, launch recall initiatives and circulate petitions for their removal from office. Invest some of our dollars in the political campaigns of constitutional conservatives at the local, state and national levels, regardless of their party affiliation, and then work hard for their election.

We can’t expect much help from the main stream press, so we’ll have to educate ourselves, our families, friends, and neighbors to the danger that lies ahead and enlist them to join us in the battle.

Dick Morris paraphrased Winston Churchill recently with this statement: If they beat us in the Senate, we will fight them in conference. If they beat us in conference, we will fight them in the House. If they beat us in the House over healthcare, we will fight them over cap and trade. We will fight them over immigration and amnesty. We will fight them over the deficit. We will fight them over the debt. And we will fight them in 2010. We will fight them in the House. We will fight them for Senate seats in Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and Arkansas. We will fight them in Colorado and North Dakota and California and Washington State. We will fight them in Illinois and in New Jersey. We will never, never, never, never give up! Our country is at stake!

It’s time for a new American Revolution. Not only is our country at stake, but the very freedom that we hold so dear.

Rush has said it is not him explicitly, it isn’t Hannity, it isn’t Beck...it sure isn’t Steele, but let’s see if Steele does things that speak louder than words.

Palin and Sessions, and a few others are certainly main candidates, but we need an effort now that is for 2010 midterm elections.

Some have said it us US who will lead us, but that isn’t very organizational.

There was a time when I felt the Republican party was better organized. I don’t see the Tea Party winning by itself, and it NEEDS to be combined w/ the Republican Party or we’re all sunk.

No doubt the Marxist RATS are at WAR against the Constitution.

The stakes?

LIBERTY!

How much is it worth? Exactly how much are we willing to sacrifice to remain free with our Bill of Rights and Constitution intact?

Would you give up a job? A car? Your home, to fight for your freedom?

People better start thinking how much liberty is worth fighting for. If one isn’t prepared to lay EVERYTHING ON THE LINE, they deserve to become slaves under tyranny.

This is a fight for OUR LIVES, PEOPLE! Get serious.
Time to start throwing rocks since the voices are ignored.
And if the rocks are ignored then it is bullets by golly.

This ISN’T A GAME. THIS IS A REAL IDEOLOGICAL WAR. The RATS will do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO FURTHER THEIR MARXIST AGENDA. ARE YOU WILLING TO DO EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IN RESPONSE TO PROTECT YOUR FREEDOM?

This is a Revolution, we don’t need a leader. Leaders emerge like Palin.

Pray for America’s Freedom

We will lead ourselves united by the common principles on which this country was founded.

That there is no specific leader may be a good thing for now.
We can’t be decapited or slowed. Keep the faith.

The Redcoats made it easy to revolt against. The Marxists presumably have the “rule of law” on their side so long as they occupy the White House. I think a good first step is to refuse to fill out the census questionnaire beyond the number of household occupants and their citizenship status. Anything extra is none of the gubmint’s dam bidness.

If millions elect not to participate in the Marxists’ census BS, maybe then there’d be enough publicity to get people to realize they’re not alone and to start organizing locally and regionally.

Who will lead us?

We're Americans. We don't need "leaders". Just participants.

I am a majority of one. So are you.

I was asking more in the vein of who the militia officers will be. Will we go with the tried-and-true election of officers as in days of old (Revolution, 1812, War Between the States, Spanish-American war) or what? Probably military veterans/retirees, business leaders, etc.

Rally 'round your local Sheriff. If he's a Federal suck-up, organize your local shooting club.

We haven’t started to fight. Who will lead us? I can tell you, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Andy Jackson. New leaders will surface—they are waiting in the wings. Never Give Up. The harder the battle the glorious the victory. We can’t rest on what we have done. There is only so much the Glen Becks and Sarah Palins can do—we must go forward ourselves. Each of us has several God given talents—let us use them to unseat the Liberals. If its a gift for art—draw posters and cartoons, if its a gift of speaking—speak out, if its a gift for organization —organize for change. If your gift is comedy—use it to mock Obama back to Kenya.
Conservatives must run for office—we must support them. I only wish Sarah Palin would run for congress and speak out in the House or Senate. I believe every office should see a conservative running. From Dog catcher to President and everything in between. We must band together to purge the liberals and there plans from the land. This will be fun and rewarding but, don’t expect a quick or easy victory. Our foes will fight hard. They are dedicated to their cause. Are we as dedicated to ours?
