On Christmas Day, a Major with the Salvation Army taking his three children into the organization's community center in North Little Rock, was held up and shot to death (in what appears to be a botched robbery attempt). The Major and his children are white and the two perpetrators were black. Given what we know about how long it takes for racial wounds to heal, what's to say that these three young children (four, six, and eight) who witnessed the murder of their father become personally hostile to every black person they see, and who could really blame them?

Socialism and communism are just another form of slavery with the government as the overseer with the whip. We must run all of them out of power and then out of the country. If they like the socialism and communism so much, let them immigrate to a country that already has those systems in place. I would love to see those assholes try living under Hugo Chavez. I wonder how they would like it if they did not like something he did and couldn’t say anything about it for fear of doing some heavy duty jail time or perhaps face a firing squad like in Iran.

The public school system has been encouraging racism for almost 40 years, I remember when forced desegregation started, I was in the 7th grade, the powers that be thought it would be nice to bring three busloads of the most incorrigible young black kids from the ghetto they could find to a mostly white suburban middle class school. When I got to High School it was 30 buses. This is all by design to encourage racial animosity, and continue the racism debate, which of course includes lots of new Hate Crimes. absolutely despicable.

the sad part is we had black families in the neighborhood and at our school, and we all got along just fine, never any Racial Problems til this was started. Things rapidly digressed from there.

Now we all know that we are racists because They say so.

Crime is one way. Persecution, Denial of opportunity, Affirmative Action, Quotas, and just about anything that judges people by their religion, race or birth are a few examples I can think of.

I just creates a society that ignores the best of what everybody has to offer. It stagnates innovation and inventions and that is damn shameful

I agree. Wary but not prejudiced.
When I was young, if I walked to school the shortest way, a gang of black youths would always steal my milk money. So I walked the longer way to school. It did not make me prejudiced.

But today, if I see a gang of black youths coming my way on the street with pants hanging half way off, and with dorags (sp?), I am wary. If a single black person approaches wearing a suit and tie (not a bowtie), I think little of it. It is just common sense.

I agree. When I was a kid we lived in a neighborhood that was nice but then a nun got raped by a black man and then a bunch of activist types started moving into the neighborhood. My father got sick of it and we moved and we’re still able to get a decent amount of money for that house.

Now when you drive through that neighborhood its sad to see all the overgrown yards and blight. I’m not a big fan of people leaving their cities but I know why they did it in Birmingham. They did it so they could keep local control of schools and avoid busing. Can’t really argue with them either.

Yep. Sure is. Just like if a lion killed your dad, in front of you...it would be a huge leap to assume that the kids might have a fear of lions. In fact, most people who watch their parents die by lions become lion tamers. Why wouldn’t they? Trauma? ha.

Or if you watched your dad get run over by a car, you’d probably become a champion race car driver.

I have lived all over the US including ‘The South’. My experience is that some folks just have a chip on their shoulder and a hole in their heart..... kind of like everywhere else

The most glaring example of racism in our neighborhood is a church. I know a number of liberals that attend this church. This church has a white service and a black service....my white liberal neighbor who attends this church was talking about how nice “they”were, how well dressed “they” were and “they” seem so smart........I was dumbfounded

The liberal government has imposed so many protections, "rights", and priviledges on the minorities, they see themselves as invincible, and whites as the enemy.

Today, on PBS, "Professor Gates" - obama's buddy - is hosting a 2 hour special called, "Afro-American Lives", after that another program about slavery. The minorities are fed an never-ending stream of propaganda designed to keep them angry, even though there are no slaves alive today, they are pumped that it is their "legacy" to invoke revenge, and restitution.

The problem is, after the millions and millions of dollars that have been spent, and the reaching out of most of the white community to mend race relations, there is a segment of the black community who see the profits in not letting this national guilt trip die.

These two black perps will probably be charged with "murder", "robbery" and a couple of other crimes, but you can bet - even with all of the new legislation - they will NOT be charged with a "Hate Crime". If the racial situation were reversed, not only would "Hate Crimes" be imposed, but there would be riots in the streets and a 3 month news cycle on it, 24 & 7.

"Equal Rights" overshot its intended mark, and is now "racism" all over again. I have heard the more militant faction of the black community say that black hatred and crimes toward whites is NOT "racism", but somehow justified because of the happenings of 200 years ago that no one currently living can change.

I often wonder why they waited 200 years to rebel...most of our forefathers had the "live free or die" attitude. Back during teh 50's and 60's, the courageous blacks were the ones who stepped up in the wake of fire hoses and attack dogs to demand "equal" rights, but those out there today are a bunch "johnny-come-latelys" with baggy pants and a bad attitude.

They "civil rights" concerns of the modern activists center more on money than anything else. As "equal rights" has spun over to "equal but separate rights", the Jessie Jacksons of the world have convinced blacks that they are now entitled to our personal lives and fortunes, in lieu of working for it themselves.

That old movie line, "Give a mouse a cookie, he'll want a glass of milk." applies in modern day, spoiled-brat America. You can't shove freebies to any group for their entire lives, and then one day expect them to give it up and go to work...it ain't happening.

Charity and entitlements build self-esteem and self-reliance like busing achieves racial balance in schools...both of those concepts are dismal failures, and I'm wonder where the algores of the world are on the millions of school buses traveling millions of miles per day and belching out exhaust fumes hasn't been addressed at all in this heart-wrenching climate change HOAX.

It's as plain as day the democrats are only interested in our tax dollars and controlling our every move, and it has a vested interest in stirring as much racial unrest as possible. The democrats - in that respect - treat blacks worse than any slave owner ever did by not allowing them to rise to there own capabilities and enslaving them to an extent that keeps them in the democrats' control at all time. If someone gives you free "everything", you are indebted and enslaved by them, and you will do whatever you have to do to keep the money flowing your way...it's a fact of life, it's human nature.

Yes, one of America's - or I should say the democrats' favorite product, is racists...the more of them they can produce in America, the more in control they are of all of us. They know the trick of holding two cats face-to-face...chances are, they're going to fight - where do you think obama's phrase "In Yo' Face" came from...it's provacation to illicit governmental protection and monetary revenge when temper flare and people react to blatent ridicule and harassment.

My question is, if obama succeeds in destroying America and the Contitutition, will that make EEO and civil rights laws null and void, and open up a no holds barred scenario?

I’ve lived in Louisiana before. And while I cannot say I like racism I understand why they are the way they are.

Its very easy to become racist when demographic group gets everything handed to them by the government, gets advantages they don’t get and yet, for the most part, members of said demographic group end up being a drain on society and not taking advantage of the opportunities given to them.

You know. It may be an unpopular statement here but, the racism is going continue until certain groups start to hold their weight in America.

What you are describing how reasonable people today view blacks in random encounters is how reasonable folks view black culture (potentially dangerous) as they encounter it worldwide with the exception of maybe Bermuda.

Can anyone explain to me why that is.

Whites who only know black culture from Cosby reruns have no idea what I'm talking about.

However, this obsession we have in the west now about racism as like the biggest evil in the history of the world is crippling and the definition of racism has been diluted to mean almost anything including simply discussing the group behavior of negroid raced peoples.

And this obsession of racism has bled over to a revulsion of discussing other negative group behaviors by latinos, asians, religious minorities, and homosexuals yet has opened the door to revile whites and Christendom at the same time.

In the end, this is all about pursuing political power, and all traditional minorities in the West are having their day....because we are letting them and we have become too weak to stop them. We actually believe what they say about us..lol

Man....I would have never thought it would get this bad in only 52 years of living. As a parent of young kids I am confronted by this assault daily just as sure as if Indians had busted thru the perimeter of the homestead.
