So True, most people don’t have a clue.

The public school system has been encouraging racism for almost 40 years, I remember when forced desegregation started, I was in the 7th grade, the powers that be thought it would be nice to bring three busloads of the most incorrigible young black kids from the ghetto they could find to a mostly white suburban middle class school. When I got to High School it was 30 buses. This is all by design to encourage racial animosity, and continue the racism debate, which of course includes lots of new Hate Crimes. absolutely despicable.

the sad part is we had black families in the neighborhood and at our school, and we all got along just fine, never any Racial Problems til this was started. Things rapidly digressed from there.

Now we all know that we are racists because They say so.

I agree. When I was a kid we lived in a neighborhood that was nice but then a nun got raped by a black man and then a bunch of activist types started moving into the neighborhood. My father got sick of it and we moved and we’re still able to get a decent amount of money for that house.

Now when you drive through that neighborhood its sad to see all the overgrown yards and blight. I’m not a big fan of people leaving their cities but I know why they did it in Birmingham. They did it so they could keep local control of schools and avoid busing. Can’t really argue with them either.

When I was a kid, my family spent 6 mos. in Norfolk, VA, while my dad went to war college. The city schools had decided to bus, so we military brats were sent from our base to a school in the inner city. The teachers hated us because 1/3 of their classes showed up in Sept, left in January, then a whole new crop of kids came in. The kids hated us because we were either white or we were military and had traveled and experienced more in our lives than they had. The locals hated us because we were invaders into their turf; the city buses we rode had to keep changing routes. At one point I had a window blown out next to me by some dork with a brick. We got beat up a lot. My brother had a knife pulled on him at his school because he was white. Left a sour taste in my mouth for the South. However, after meeting some fine people from Nashville, and reading "The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Civil War," I might be mellowing.

Fast forward to Central California. In our schools there are blacks to hates Mexicans. They hate Mexicans because a lot of the Mexicans are here illegally. Because they're here illegally, they can take jobs for far less wages than whites or blacks can. The blacks have their gangs, the Mexicans have their gangs. Both groups are fed from the public gvt. teat, which makes those of us middle class people of all colors resent them because it seems we're the ones paying all the taxes. The Mexican kids I teach use "Hindu" as a racial slur, and use Spanish, but not in my classroom. My little 9 year old geniuses have caught on to the fact that English is Power, especially economically, so they have a higher motivation to learn.
