Read what is intended not how it’s spelled, grammar nazi.
And who ever refers to themselves as a "natural-born American?"
Your mask is slipping.
“You’re spending an inordinate amount of time referring to and seemingly agreeing with the European view of Americans as arrogant and boastful.
“And who ever refers to themselves as a “natural-born American?”
“Your mask is slipping.”
Ok you got me, I was hoping no one would catch on.
BO
Hit a nerve, did I?
The engineering student turned wannabe islamist muslim terrorist comes from a pretty elite background.
Yes, so they can impose stricter "security" measures on us, more invasions of privacy, more rules & regulations, more inconvenience, more hoops for us to jump through. The Muslims, they will just wave them through.
More taquiya from the Muzzie crowd. I don't blieve a word of it. BAN THE WHOLE DAMN FAMILY FROM COMING TO THE USA.
The only true Muslim friend of America and the US Constitution, is a dead or deported one.
Sorry, still can’t find evidence that other passengers participated in the takedown. Most other stories are similar to the New York Times story, which states that a single passenger acted:
One passenger who was sitting in the same row as Mr. Abdulmutallab, but on the right side of the plane, apparently hurled himself across a middle row of four seats to tackle him. The passenger who hurtled across the aisle was Jasper Schuringa, a filmmaker from Amsterdam, a friend of Mr. Schuringa said Saturday. A senior airline executive said that flight attendants also jumped in.
It’s reassuring to hear that the airline is claiming that flight attendants also became involved.
In any event, my argument is with those who prematurely assumed it was Americans who grabbed the terrorist and saved the day. In this case one very impressive Dutchman is due our praise and admiration.
Hope this helps.
Uh, no. your argument was ""NOT A SINGLE American passenger made ANY move against the terrorist."
You don't get to change your argument because it's impossible to prove.
Wish I could help you out, but I still can’t find any evidence that someone other than the Dutchman was involved in the initial takedown of the terrorist, though at some point obviously the flight attendants became involved. It therefore appears that the premature assumption that it was Americans who reacted so quickly and admirably, is false.
Or else our security is totally incompetent What I meant is that it must be a False flag.
as he has been known as a terrorist for at least two years.
True. horrific as well.
In post 121 I accused Salvey of being a grammar nazi for correcting a poster for not spelling out the word “bot” fully, when they were providing clarity for letting us know that Delta had “bot” Northwest Airlines. My argument is that someone that knows enough about the financial dealings of an airline industry would know how to spell “bought” and maybe cared enough to get that info out their fast so that the threads discussion could be accurate.
Like many here, I prefer to read what is intended rather than how it is written. I would much rather read a brilliant misspelled written post, than a petty well polished one that adds nothing. I want people to know that they can post here with out having their accuracy graded by their 3rd grade teacher.
So I want to apologize to Salvey for my imprudence of not capitalizing the word Nazi as using the term in reference to his behavior in his post. I should have used grammar pharisee to be more accurate.
My apologies if I offended and Grammar Nazi’s on this forum. Walkingfeather.
Without a passport the turd should never been allowed on a plane headed for the USA!
The Dutchman did act alone and deserves our praise. His nationality is absolutely inconsequential to the outcome. I think you’ve stepped in it. I bear you no ill will, but your false smear cannot go unanswered. I have flown across the Atlantic ocean more than 20 times since 9-11, and I would act with extreme prejudice against a jihadist, given the chance. So would the vast majority of passengers. You singled out Americans, and we (here, at FR) don’t like it.
“Smear on Americans”? What a joke. The Americans whose opinions on such matters I care about are those who fought and bled and died on foreign shores to preserve our freedoms. I suspect they would be similarly amused by the armchair keyboard commandos whose only “combat” experience is the apparently traumatic experience of having someone question their gung-ho false presumptions. My “crime” apparently was in pointing out that some Freepers (thankfully only a vocal few) were erroneous in assuming that American passengers took out the terrorist.
Thanks for the ping hennie pennie. Just got home and trying to catch up.
