It therefore appears that the premature assumption that it was Americans who reacted so quickly and admirably, is false.
The Dutchman did act alone and deserves our praise. His nationality is absolutely inconsequential to the outcome. I think you’ve stepped in it. I bear you no ill will, but your false smear cannot go unanswered. I have flown across the Atlantic ocean more than 20 times since 9-11, and I would act with extreme prejudice against a jihadist, given the chance. So would the vast majority of passengers. You singled out Americans, and we (here, at FR) don’t like it.
