Former President Bill Clinton came within minutes of being assassinated in the Philippines by terrorists controlled by Osama bin Laden, a new book has revealed. ...Marisa Porges, a former government counter-terrorism advisor and an expert at the Council on Foreign Relations, a US think tank, said the assassination plot, if true, would suggest al Qaeda was more developed than some thought it was prior to 9/11”.

OK, I despise the Clintons, but I would want serious revenge taken on any person or group that would harm any current or former president!Me, too. Especially since we would have been left with Gore, who would have won the 2000 election with the sympathy/legacy vote (and for those who say, "no way" all I can say is "LBJ.")

Be glad they didn't manage to Kill Bill. If they had, AlGore probably would have gotten enough sympathy vote to defeat George W. Bush. Gore would thus have been President on 9-11, something too horrible to even contemplate...much.
