Not very important considering the other disasters happening in this country. Here is an email exchange I had with the Build-a-Bear people regarding their stupid promo using Santa to indoctrinate kids with the global warming hoax.
Dear Build-a-Bear: AGW is a hoax. Indoctrinating kids regarding this scam is unforgivable. The children on my gift list won't be receiving a Build a Bear now or in the future. You should keep your political views to yourself. Glo-bull warming has no place in the marketing of a product to children. This campaign should be dropped and Santa should not used to spew lies to kids.
And their response:

So, it looks like they are dropping the promo.
Build-a-Bear took a big crap in their own nest. I hope they lose a lot of business over their promotion of the global-warming hoax.
This proves that in this current economic climate (recession) that money does not talk, .......IT SCREAMS!!

What is “Global Warming”?
It is the theory that the mean temperature of the earth is increasing due to the greenhouse effect, caused by greenhouse gases such as CO2, which is produced by humans burning of fossil or carbon based fuels for energy. The solution to this is the reduction of the use of carbon based fuels.
OK, now that we agree on that, let’s step through this.
1st, what is the “right” mean temperature of the earth?
Has it ever changed without man’s influence?
2nd, the greenhouse effect in and of itself is not a bad thing, it is a good thing - we’d freeze to death at night or in the winter without it.
3rd, What is the most abundant, and also the most contributory “greenhouse gas”?
CO2?
No, it’s water vapor, comprising 95% of the greenhouse effect. Man’s contribution to the amount of water vapor is less than .001%, so we can ignore it.
Back to CO2. CO2 contributes around 3.6% to the greenhouse effect.
But what percentage of CO2 is natural and how much man-made? 97% of CO2 is naturally occurring, 3% due to man’s actions.
This amounts to a 0.117% man-caused contribution to the greenhouse effect due to carbon emissions.
So, even if we ELIMINATED the use of carbon based fuels for energy production, thus destroying our lifestyle and civilization, we’d have less than a .117% effect on “global warming”.
Now, I know that leftists are married to these “solutions” and will want to implement them anyway, regardless of their ineffectiveness. Now, can we discuss why? (topic for another post)

The letter still refers to “global climate change”...just the phrase makes me sick. You know they’ve fed right in to it when they change the name to fit.

What these pukes who made the video don’t realize is that even if the north pole melts, “IT MELTS IN THE SUMMER TIME DUMBASS” Christmas would never have to be canceled because it freezes over in the winter.
Come Summer Santa is vacationing in Jamaica and the North Pole village is floated over to one of the Canadian Islands and Moored there until the ice start freezing again.
Jackasses don’t even know that Santa has had to deal with defrosted ice caps in the summer back when he was delivering presents for all the good viking girls and boys in Greenland about 1,000 years ago......
Caring for this earth is part of our Christian principles. We have an obligation to teach our children to care for this earth.

Look, I know this issue is not very important in the scheme of things. Do you think it’s necessary for them to sell their product using AGW as a gimmick to indoctrinate kids? Shouldn’t we speak up against these folks in the MSM, schools and elsewhere who are trying to create new little socialists?
