If you havent seen the movie or read the book The Lord of the Flies you should to understand this behavior.
Children in our cities and society in general are basically growing up with out parental supervision.
They are being socialized to the law of the jungle. Tribal loyalty of their group is all they know.
Teachers are almost with out authority, parents are afraid of their children, you cant spank your kid without fear of Child Services coming to your house and taking your kids or arresting you.
If the government ends up taking our guns I fear being an old person in the future because it will be an only the strong survives culture in the future.
It may not be today. It may not happen tomorrow. But vigilantism is coming!
it was a black on white beatdown.
Sounds right, lets see if this qualifies as a hate crime? My guess is it will be swept under the carpet as fast as possible. Segregated schools are looking a whole lot better now than in the 1960s. I wonder why that is?
I guess the boy with the basketball was ‘acting stupidly’ - and got what he deserved... EHHH, Mr. President???
It won’t give the boy back his health, but yes vigilantism is coming because our leaders are so out of touch that they are the ones who first need to feel the lash then criminals like these.
Usually, in our liberal newspaper, if the criminals are white their race is given right after their name. If the criminal is black, there is no mention of his race anywhere. Is this the case with this story? I can’t find any description of the people responsible. I hate to leap to a conlusion though. Anyone know for sure?

Now why do you think the President would ever get involved in an obviously local matter like this?

You can leap.
Anyone know if it will be cold in Alaska this winter?

Since we can’t post the essay,
nor probably post a link to the essay because it’s too truthful, ie, it’s “racis!”,
I admonish everyone NOT to
google “what is it like to teach black students christopher jackson”
and definitely don’t read any of the links that come up if you do.
Yes, PC police, I’m mocking you.
Has anyone seen a fund set up for David Muneton? His photo just makes me so sad, as you can see the decency in his eyes. Here you have a kid who has tried to do the right thing and he gets savaged because of it.
Looking at the school’s profile, that seems very likely.
Janis Dismus Middle School is 63% black, 34% hispanic and about 2% white. With 516 students, there would be only about 10 white students in the school, 9 if you subtract the victim.
That said, this was clearly NOT a “hate crime”. /sarc
The comments are quite telling.
Close enough and really (and sadly) no big surprise. It’s always interesting though that they chose not to mention it; had it been a group of whites beating a black we’d be hearing about it on CNN for weeks.
Just revisited the article. Comments down the memory hole...
Parents should sue everyone involved and that includes the school. You know, the school that says they have power over students’ behavior to and from school. Watch what happens if it goes to court. I bet the school will try to say they have no responsibility for what happens off of school grounds.
They have been trying to clean up Englewood schools for years. They have an academy for smart, mainly white and Asian kids, whom they lured back from the private schools. Then, of course, they have the jealous, troubled minority students.
