Don’t give us facts. The vaunted AMA collective/collectivists has been placed as a meme inside minds as the spokesman for individual doctors. It’s been amplified by the propagandists over and over and over and over...
(great post. thanks)
Michael Steele is focused on fund-raising. He doesn't care about the direction the country is going in.
I won’t be using a doctor who is a member of AMA.
According to Greta on Fox last night, only 29% of US Doctors belong to the AMA.
FUBO and the Entire DemonRat Party and most of the GOP!!
The only explanation for the vaccuum of leadership in the Republican party is the fear of john q public to run for any office. The evisceration all republicans receive in the press makes it a difficult proposition to consider.
As for a third party, they will have the same fine time.
The question is: what percentage of those doctors belonging to the AMA support Obamacare?
...we have a wonderful primary care doctor...he has no confidence in Obama, refuses to join the AMA, and laid in 3000 rounds of .45 ammo this Fall...my kinda doc.
I don’t know where they are getting this data. Everything I’ve read says the number is actually closer to 11% that belong to the AMA and that’s probably in line with the number of docs in academic medicine who don’t actually run a business.
That’s because the AMA is a liberal loon group that does not represent most physicians. Their membership is a fair representation of the percentage of physicians it represents.
I just ran a quick search for my city in the 4 primary care specialties (IM, FP, Peds, OB) 13.5% were members.
And that’s the difference between “the truth” and “The Whole Truth”.
Which is closer to 11% than 29%. Doesn’t anyone check facts anymore?
I believe your numbers since far fewer specialists are members than Primary Care. Interestingly, Pediatrics was the lowest percent here at 6%.
Are there any doctors who have taken Medicare and Medicaid and been screwed by the government supporting this monstrosity?
The leadership of the AMA is like that of any union, leftists, socialists, and Marxists and do not represent the majority of their members.
The doctors’ group I have been going to for the past 20 years has three former Canadians who all left Canada after completing their residency to open a practice in Tennessee. They ARE NOT for this obamanation.
I myself am a physician, and like the majority of doctors, do not belong to the AMA.
The AMA has been a leftist organization for decades. First, they were supportive of abortion, and now supportive of a bill that hurts the vast majority of doctors. As a lobby group, they are pretty much useless.
Most of the doctors I know have long ago left the AMA...frankly, I don’t know many who are still active in it.
Exactly. The tiny collective is presented and AMPLIFIED as the spokegroup for all doctors by propagandists to useful idiots.
Is there an equivalent anti-AMA or collective of doctors with opposing views that gets any notoriety?
