A pro-family leader says organizers of the Conservative Political Action Conference are engaging in "moral surrender" by allowing a Republican homosexual activist group to co-sponsor the prestigious event.
Liberty University Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr., and Liberty Counsel founder and chairman Mat Staver have sent a letter to American Conservative Union chairman David Keene, warning him they will boycott CPAC 2010 if the homosexual activist group GOProud is allowed to remain as a co-sponsor of the February event.
Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan, was one of the first social conservative leaders to sign the letter. He believes CPAC's embrace of GOProud is symptomatic of a broader problem -- what he calls the "dumbing down of the pro-family stand in the public policy arena."
Glenn recalls a blog entry by a homosexual activist in 2003. "...He gleefully predicted, with the rise of the homosexual 'marriage' issue, that even the pro-family groups would eventually hand homosexual activists everything they want on their agenda -- other than legalizing so-called homosexual 'marriage' -- just to prove that they're not all bigots for opposing homosexual marriage.
"And unfortunately we see evidence of that," the pro-family spokesman concludes. "Here's just the latest example of CPAC doing something that ten years ago would have been unthinkable."
Glenn says CPAC fails to realize that the agenda of homosexual activist groups like GOProud has not only negative social and moral consequences, but also negative economic consequences.

The way I look at it, if there was a group called “Alcoholics Proud” and they supported tax reform and cutting the federal bureaucracy, but also stood for an agenda that defined alcoholism as a normal and healthy lifestyle choice for teens and demanding that unrepentant alcoholics be allowed to enlist in key military units ... I WOULD TELL THEM TO GO TO HELL.
Obama does show a lot of feminine mannerisms.
I look at this way, if opposing the deviants that practice felching, rimming, and fisting makes me a homophobe, then I will proudly wear that mantle, before I will the label of homophile. Male homosexuals are the #1 vector for the spread of human infectious disease and the breeding grounds for drug-resistant bacteria.

CPAC is going to find itself with little or no influence if they start down this path.

CPAC is a joke. It has been infiltrated and either needs to be cleaned out or abandoned wholesale by conservatives.
Maybe this explains while Mitt Romney was such a favorite of CPAC during the 2008 election.
