To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,

The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.

Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.

War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they are still poor.

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "Government Service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars: AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??

Very good!

But for some reason people still (secretly) believe in bureaucracies.

The hacks in Congress fully intend, in my opinion, to use their DeathCare to get rid of as many social security recipients as they can legally get rid of by denying them health care. Sound like Germany in 1937?

Hell, it gets me so mad, I’m looking for a rope right now.

Well now, if the rope is for the purpose of doing yourself in, then I can't help you. However, if it is needed for a similar occassion with far reaching positive results, then I think I could find enough to accommodate 536 occasions ;-)

They don’t care what we ‘want’.

Its about power and money, transferring ours to them.

Now the American citizens will start experiencing what it's like to be under occupation by a foreign power even if it claims to be benign.

You know, I keep saying this, over and over again, that we have an amazing cabal of talent here at FR. We seriously need to parlay our resources into a more effective media source. With the creative people here, and all those who do research, those who are lawyers, doctors, engineers, pipe fitters, mechanics... you name it, we’ve got them all here! I hope people realize what an organization FR could become. We have to fight fire with fire. Just reading this post made me think that author could work on a campaign. Simple, clear to the points, and well stated.

We do have a lot of talent here at FR and we likewise have a lot of spirited and furious patriots. Given a little organization, we could become a potent force in American politics.

But we can’t do our planning in public, for any number of reasons. (By the way, I love that suggestion about the rope!) Hell, Homeland Security probably has most of our ISP addresses written down already, awaiting the Big Roundup. We could suggest nothing but purely legal stuff and still they’d give us funny looks.

So ... how much can we do “above board” without setting off any alarms? And how do we go about taking these efforts underground, so to speak?
