ACORN critic Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) is mystified that both the Democratic-controlled Congress and the Obama administration aren't doing much about the tax-subsidized organized crime syndicate ACORN even as evidence of its wrongdoing continues to pile up.
In an exclusive interview, the House Judiciary Committee member describes the ACORN saga as "the largest corruption crisis in the history of America."
"It's thousands of times bigger than Watergate because Watergate was only a little break-in by a couple of guys," said King. "By the time we pull ACORN out by its roots America's going to understand just how big this is."
Unlike the Nixon-era Watergate scandal, the ACORN scandal reaches not only to the highest levels of government, but also to states and localities across America. The president himself and his political advisor Patrick Gaspard used to work for ACORN and the radical advocacy group has allies throughout congressional leadership who are bending over backwards to protect it. President Obama has also hired as White House counsel Bob Bauer, whom King described as "the number one defender of ACORN in the country." ...

“By the time we pull ACORN out by its roots America’s going to understand just how big this is.”
No they won’t, because the media will not give this story legs.
Nothing to see here...
Actually, Watergate was all about hiding what the ‘burglars’ were doing and what they found:
Proof that the DNC was using the AFL-CIO to launder money, and that John Deans wife was running a prostitution ring out of DNC HQ. The press/Democrats could not have the real story publicized.
Spare us the false sense of being mystified congressman. You clowns scratch each others backs so much you’d think you were monkeys. ACORN is just another in the long line of corruption. Do the names Rangel, Murtha, Dicks, Moran... mean anything to you? Nothing to see here folks. BTW, ACORN is the vehicle for the RATS to steal the 2010 election in spite of their sticking all these new laws and taxes up our butts. Elections won’t matter from here on out.
We can only hope. I hate that these sorts of crimes can be largely ignored by the general population.
“... John Deans wife was running a prostitution ring out of DNC HQ...”
####
I have never heard that one.
What was the wife of one of Nixon’s top aides doing working at the DNC? The puny, cowardly nerd, backstabbing snake John Dean did not seem to have been the type to have a Madame for a wife.
Only an IDIOT would pose such a question on this website. Please report to your congresscritter's office to stand in line for your free hand out.
I dunno. There are limits to vote stealing and fraud before it becomes too blatant for even Mr. and Mrs. American Idol to ignore. I think -17 (obumer’s negative polling) might be past that limit...
G. Gordon Liddy calls Dean: ‘a serial perjurer.’
Yep. Watergate dominated the Evening news, night after night, after night. And Newspapers all over the country had the ongoing investigation covered in its front pages like few other stories of its time. And then their was the blockbuster movie in inspired, staring two of Hollywoods top actors, and winning 4 Oscars.
Bigger than Watergate? Now, we all know that the ACORN scandal is much much much larger than Watergate, but if the news chooses to ignore it, then its amounts to the size of an unpaid parking ticket.
No reason to be mystified. All these thugs stand to benefit from cover up.
From your keyboard to God's ears.
We had that chance with Clinton
Rush Limbaugh for YEARS tod us the rule of law must prevail!
Until Bush got nominated...then he and Hannity went on the air and told us to all get over it...
that’s true about John Deans Wife, go to G Gordon Liddy’s site and look up the archieves
he spells it out the court case you can get transcripts for that detail the facts found
It was found out by the guys who wrote SILENT COUP
get that book, too! Even Liddy claims he never knew half of that book
I’m so sick of you cynical jack asses. Before you spout off anything maybe you should research the individual you are ridiculing and the issue he/she is discussing. Look up Congressman Steve King once. You will see you don’t have a better conservative in the country!
Maybe we’d have a shot at advancing our issues if you negative, cynical nimrods would build up good conservatives rather than tearing them all down every chance you get. Rant over.
Thank you for calling me cynical.........................
Their philosophy was that the purpose of life was to live a life of Virtue in agreement with Nature. This meant rejecting all conventional desires for wealth, power, health, and fame, and by living a life free from all possessions. As reasoning creatures, people could gain happiness by rigorous training and by living in a way which was natural for humans. They believed that the world belonged equally to everyone, and that suffering was caused by false judgments of what was valuable and by the worthless customs and conventions which surrounded society. Many of these thoughts were later absorbed into Stoicism.
Way to dodge my point. If you were to look up Congressman King, you would find out that your cynicism toward him is making you look like an idiot. There is nothing good that comes from cynics who base their information on a gut feeling, derived from either foolishness or lazyness.
I would say we concur. Now, why does the MSM have such a problem trying to find the time to report this, and DIG into the ripe opportunity to tell the people the truth. It used to be fashionable.
