There is scope for debate and innumerable newspaper quizzes about who was the most influential public figure of the year, or which the most significant event. But there can be little doubt which word won the prize for most important adjective. 2009 was the year in which "global" swept the rest of the political lexicon into obscurity. There were "global crises" and "global challenges", the only possible resolution to which lay in "global solutions" necessitating "global agreements". Gordon Brown actually suggested something called a "global alliance" in response to climate change. (Would this be an alliance against the Axis of Extra-Terrestrials?)
Some of this was sheer hokum: when uttered by Gordon Brown, the word "global", as in "global economic crisis", meant: "It's not my fault". To the extent that the word had intelligible meaning, it also had political ramifications that were scarcely examined by those who bandied it about with such ponderous self-importance. The mere utterance of it was assumed to sweep away any consideration of what was once assumed to be the most basic principle of modern democracy: that elected national governments are responsible to their own people that the right to govern derives from the consent of the electorate.
The dangerous idea that the democratic accountability of national governments should simply be dispensed with in favour of "global agreements" reached after closed negotiations between world leaders never, so far as I recall, entered into the arena of public discussion. Except in the United States, where it became a very contentious talking point, the US still holding firmly to the 18th-century idea that power should lie with the will of the people.(continued)

Maybe that’s why obamination has nothing to fear. He couldn’t be tried for treason—simply deported to his country of origin.
Run? Hell, aren’t we going to stand and fight!?
Does his brother have a extra room to share in his Kenyan mud hut?
If it comes to global world government vs the people, I’d vote for bringing back the guillotine. OFF with their HEADS!!
Just remember that this talk about one world government did not start with Obama but was already mentioned two presidents ago.
If they think for one moment that all Americans are just going to roll over and play dead in front of this tyranny, they are wrong. Dead wrong.
Ill supply the popcorn and refreshments.
Since I cant own any good type of guns or anything that hurts a criminal :(

IT’S TRUE.
And they are not . . . largely because the oligarchy has controlled the media for many decades . . .
and the frog in the bucket brainwashing has been very long ongoing, very comprehensive, very thorough, very intense and relentless . . . and very successful.
Besides, they have lots of judges in place now . . . lots of lawyers . . . and worse . . . are all in place.
Wake up, folks.
Have been saying such things for at least 40 something years.
> There is a place of refuge. That is under the Lord Jesus Christ.
I’m with you, sister. But don’t forget... many Christians live and die under tyranny. Jesus may save our eternal soul, but let us pray for an extra measure of strength for the here and now to repel the onslaught of those who would take liberty from us.
I will stand and fight with you. Enough of these a**holes. I don’t run from facists or communists.
There is one place.
Into the arms of the Almighty.
There is a place of refuge. That is under the Lord Jesus Christ. We are approaching the final countdown, Jesus is our refuge and our salvation. No I'm not trying to shove a particular belief system, I have read the Bible........I know who 'wins'.
Quite right.
I'm actually looking forward to the coming one-world government, because Jesus, the Messiah of Israel is returning to earth and He is waging all-out-war against it and all the supporters of it.
It's a war that Jesus, the Messiah of Israel wages against all these forces that we see right now forming, and in which billions of people on this earth are killed, and many of them are killed at the hand of Jesus, Himself. It's not a pretty time.
But, the coming one-world government which is controlled by Jesus, on this earth, is the one to look forward to. And that comes right after this one-world government we see forming right now, in front of our eyes.
So true. I see these Senators selling us out and wonder if they can even help it. Like Judas, Jesus said one of you will betray me so Judas knew Jesus was onto him yet he still went through with it.
That’s how these players are, they don’t seem to be able to stop themselves. Maybe it is destiny.
It may come in a few years or hundreds of years from now but it will come.
At the rate things are shaping up now, it will be less than a decade.
This has been building and building and growing for the last 50 years, at least, if not longer. So, it's had plenty of time to build and put things and mechanisms in place, plus all the people in place to make it happen.
We'll see it happen, I'm sure...
