Non-stop Rosary vigil to defeat ObamaCare

The 60 votes are there for ObamaCare to pass in the Senate. The only thing preventing a vote is a blizzard in Connecticut, where Joe Lieberman went home for Sabbath. So you might say that God is the reason, both for sending Joe home and for sending the snow storm.
I'm beginning to think that it will take a miracle to stop this massive take-over of the health care industry. So I propose an ongoing Rosary vigil. How it works is that I begin by saying a Rosary. When I finish, I reply to this thread. Hopefully, someone else will then take up the vigil and pray. If you decide to join us in prayer, please reply to this thread. It doesn't have to be a whole Rosary. It can be one decade, or even just a Hail Mary. Comments are welcome.

contact info is on this thread Includes local offices and faxes...Emails are a waste of time, they get to many of them, and they don't read them. Phone and fax messages are better.
Remind them that their vote effects ALL US Citizens, not just the ones in their state.
There are also cuts to the VA, Medicare, nursing homes, and Tri Care for Life (retired Military health insurance, plus taxes on special needs children.

Thank you Tribal Princess. My parents were not churchgoers as I got older, and I too fell from going to my Lutheran church as a result. As I got even older and met my then boyfriend - now husband (who was a daily mass Catholic), I joined him at his church for daily mass and was awestruck at how many people day in and day out attended. I figured these folks could be doing a thousand other things but they chose to join one another in the Breaking of the Bread (partaking of the
True Body of Christ through the Eucharist) and I was eventually taken in by the same Jesus that brought them there day after day, and as a result have been going to daily mass together with my husband since the day we wed (that's when I became an "official" Catholic) 25 years ago.

I have joined in this Rosary for our Freedom. I will also put Senator Nelson and all of the Catholic in name only, government officials on our Altar for prayer, during the Offertory in the AM, with the intention of Healthcare and reversal of those acts which so infringe upon our Free lives in this Country.
