Okay, said another one. Gotta get a little late-night prayer action going here. Ping away!
Thank you for keeping this going. I just discovered the Catholic TV site mentioned by notaliberal, so I am about to follow the Joyful Mysteries with Cardinal O’Malley. Usually I manage only one Rosary per day (at best), but you have inspired me.
Always say at least one a day. I know this must be working because you know who is putting a lot of annoyances in my way tonight.
You also inspired me to say a third one. (it’s done)My mother knew someone who said if you really want something, pray three rosaries a day. I’m gonna try three more for Sunday, in advance of the vote. (Gotta sleep first). Father Corapi’s virtual rosary on the previous ping would be a big help for anyone unfamiliar with the rosary.
I love Father Corapi. I have added his Virtual Rosary site to my growing list of online Rosary bookmarks.
REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Thanks so much to all who have replied that you will join in this effort, or have already said a Rosary. It is wonderful to get such a positive response, and I truly appreciate that you have taken the time to do this.
I’ve already started the rosary with one decade, and will continue through the day. Thank you for this thread.
You are welcome! I use it often.
Another Rosary said and I offered my Sunday Mass for the same. I’ve asked my online prayer group to join in the effort.
“We got someone different in the white house now.”
Win or lose, God will reward you for trying and PRAYING.
That is awesome. Thank you, kitkat.
Don’t thank ME, Giotto, I thank YOU for this thread.
And I’ve kept my promise and finished the rosary, in addition to my daily rosary for peace. I had fallen away from saying the rosary until a few years ago when I began to worry about our freedom, and remembered how often Mary has told us to pray for peace.
***I am not a Catholic, can I pray and how?!***
Of course you can pray the rosary. The Blessed Mother would have a wide smile when she hears from you. Remember she’s also your heavenly mother and makes it plain that we should all call home frequently.
...wouldn’t hurt to throw a collective confiteor into the mix...we are the ones who have allowed our elective system to put the murderers in power...think about it...
...confiteor Deo omnipotenti, beatae Mariae semper virgini, beato Micheli Archangelo, beato Joanni Baptistae, sanctis apostolis Petro et Paulo, omnibus Sanctis, et tibi, Pater, quia peccavimus nimis cogitatione, verbo, et opere...nostra culpa, nostra culpa, nostra maxima culpa...
come on, people, let’s do it...
BTTT!
Starting my evening Rosary to kill the Bill.
Just finished first Glorious Mystery, the Resurrection.
Jesus, we place our hope in you because you rose from the dead. Please help us now in our hour of need.
Our Lady Health of the Sick, please pray for all the ill and suffering.
