They can pass whatever unjust laws they want. I still have my free will and don’t have to obey them. I have no doubt that the majority of americans feel the same way.

The obligation we have is not to the government or to the law, but to our fellow citizens and the constitution.

“The constitution has not failed, the people have.”

My wife woke up screaming this AM when she heard Nelson was going to vote “yes” and I have been trying all day to calm her down (unsuccessfully so far) with the following viewpoint:

The constitution contemplates that the people will make stupid mistakes and provides a safety net of layered checks and balances that can allow correction of mistakes.

I don't believe that the safety net that the founders put in place has failed, yet. It is being tested in dangerous ways, but hasn't failed.

Fox News is still on the air, for example, upholding free speech (mostly), covering the people's tea parties and Obama’s falling polls, and Glen Beck has been picking off Obama’s inner circle Marxist Alinski Czars one at a time. Even the MSMs came to Fox's defense when Obama tried to freeze Fox out!

Gun rights have been significantly expanded and validated just this year with the Miller decision with personal arms and ammunition sales at an all time high.

Despite 24/7 attempted brainwashing the majority of people hate everything Obama is doing and are on track to crush the Democrats in 2010 rendering Obama a lame duck. Only a ginned up crisis that could be used to impose martial law would seem to be the remaining way for Obama to fulfill his agenda.

Cap ‘n Tax is dead and the “healthcare” bill has been stripped of its most Marxist features and the people recognize it as a fraudulent imposition on their freedom. Healthcare won't be fully implemented for years so it can be overturned by a Conservative congress and president.

Those who produce in this country now seem to be a minority. Those who take from the producers in this country now seem to be the majority.

Politicians have locked in their class privileges and will now be impossible to remove through the voting booth as their promises to take from the producers and give to the non-producers in exchange for their votes will keep them in power. Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter, as our current crop of politicians are basically the same with very little difference between them.

The true question is, are their enough producers willing to step up and change the direction of this country going forward, and the answer does not look encouraging at this point.

“Past the point of no return”

That’s what they thought in Indonesia. That’s what Allende thought.

It’s not over. It hasn’t even started.

This is indeed the issue of our generation, a Constitutional crisis and the very fate of the Republic is at stake.

The opposition must be loud and overwhelmingly resolute in defining the marxists takeover as just that, a usurpation of the government and ultimate power grab by godless communists, perverts and thieves.

A statement from conservative leaders that this will not stand is in order.

I suggest you gather with like-minded folks in your communities and begin to form Citizen Nullification Committees. There will be opportunities in the near future for free citizens to demonstrate that they WILL NOT COMPLY with the tyrannies being legislated by this corrupt and unholy administration. The Committees should plan what their reactions will be when those opportunities arise.

There will also be chances to confront the enemy, whether in defense of one's own property or that of ideological brethren. The Committees should each select a Defense arm to do just that. If we're headed for a war, let's take it to them.

And a tactical group should be set up to fight back, to harass and interdict, and to take the offensive. The Sons of Liberty dumped tea. We are the sons of the Sons. And the tea needs dumping again.

Never trust the legislative branch to repeal a bureaucratic monster.

This law will need to be met with thirty to forty thousand class action lawsuits and civil rights cases simultaneously the day the executive branch regulations are finalised in the Federal Register.

This is going to come down to every single American signing up for class action lawsuits, and every single American pressing every single local, county, regional, state and Federal prosecutor to bring Civil Rights charges against the Federal Government. This will become a personal war to either recruit the prosecutors, or replace them by any means necessary.

The alternative is permanent 12%+ unemployment rates and permanent slavery to health insurance companies in the New Amerikan Fascism.

Every single jurisdiciton in the country needs to be hit at the same time. The courts need to be shut down.

Every lawyer in the country needs to be pressed into action, at least 10% will be needed to be recruited to provide enough manpower to properly shutdown the legal system and 20% of the American economy.

Behind that effort, FR and tea parties will need to build ever larger boots on the ground and organizational capacity to create flash mobs at any courthouse the DoJ and HHS dares send lawyers to represent their fasist interests.

That is the way forward.

This is the new civil rights civil struggle.

There are many many state laws that ban indentured servitude...

Indiana... Mary Clark a woman of Color v. G W Johnston, May 7, 1821

Indiana... State v. LaSalle, 1 Blackf. 60 (Ind. 1820),

This law as constituted replaces the Dred Scott decision as the most egregious antithesis of freedom in this country’s history.

The goal of the Communists was to take over complete con trol of one of our Political parties. They have met that goal. The Communists control the Democrat Party. Our mission is to take control of the Republican Party. At least we would have a fighting chance. We have to purge the RINOS and do battle with the Beast.

Of course Obamacare is unconstitutional but although a majority of the American people don't want it, the 'general public' seems too apathetic to really fight this and it's obvious that conservatives alone simply can't defeat it. The relative hand-full of conservative Republicans in the House of Representatives and the Senate are no match for the Democrat majority that play political hardball with their members and shut Republicans out of any substantive debate on this terrible legislation.

Obamacare is clearly intended to cement governmental control over once-free Americans lives at a terrible financial cost that will bankrupt the country, which is the likely intent, truth be known. We can only hope and pray that it will be overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court, but I wouldn't bet the farm on that happening, especially if Obama gets to appoint one or more new Justices, who will be solid leftists, no doubt.

Tragically, years of government-run schools, depriving students of any real knowledge of America's greatness, material accomplishments and defeat of various global tyrannies have harvested a nation of apolitical citizens, who pay little attention to Washington politics and assume that nothing politicians do will change their lives in any meaningful way. The young Americans who attend universities are relentlessly brainwashed and intimidated into accepting and, eventually, inculcating socialist, anti-American beliefs pounded into them by leftist professors and textbooks slanted against American exceptionalism.

The media is mostly controlled by leftists that routinely lie or just ignore anything that doesn't fit the leftist agenda. Examples are plentiful, including the absence of news coverage about 'ClimateGate', the relentless trashing of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and the truth about Obamacare. Sure, Fox News and conservative talk radio as well as conservative websites like FR do a good job in getting the truth out but they can't compare to the influence the so-called 'mainstream media' have on public opinion. I wish it were otherwise.

We all know that Hollywood is a sea of cookie-cutter leftists. Multi-millionaire actors and other show-biz folk who live like kings while endorsing policies that would destroy other Americans ability to seek and obtain even a fraction of what the Hollywood 'elite' - a contradiction in terms, I admit - have in abundance. They are staunchly pro abortion and love their drugs but spew vicious attacks against conservatives such as Sarah Palin, just because she's a traditional wife and mother who worked hard, rose to the governorship of Alaska and holds conservative i.e. moral values.

So, a generally apathetic American public will sit back and grumble (some will cheer) while the Democrat thugs in congress and the White House ram supposed health care 'reform' down our collective throats. The bill will be instantly challenged in the courts and many Americans will be outraged at this crass exercise of political power but the law will still be on the books and we're stuck with Comrade Obama for 3 more years.

Frankly, while I once held out some hope that this bill would ultimately fail, I now cede that it will very likely pass. After all, Obama's ego depends on it.

I also believe that Democrats will lose control of congress in the 2010 elections, even with the massive voter fraud now being planned by the Obama administration, with the able assistance of SEIU, ACORN, the New Black Panthers and other leftist criminals. I believe that a majority of Americans will be angry enough to get off their duffs and vote against Democrats in the 2010 election.

Unless the GOP rids itself of the neo-cons and so-called 'moderates' exemplified by Senator John McCain and his 'my good friend' attitude toward the Democrats that would gladly turn America into a banana republic and destroy people like McCain, who whines about the lack of 'comity' in the senate, like some disappointed child that just discovered Santa Claus isn't real, a Republican majority in congress won't change very much. To put it another way: we'll still be screwed.

Frankly, I don't see conservatives overthrowing the current GOP establishment anytime soon. When political writers claim that Mitt Romney is the 'compromise' choice for Republicans, we're likely doomed. Yes, leftist political pundits always try to prop up weak RINOs that they know can't beat a Democrat but I simply don't see a strong, conservative Republican leader coming forward now, when they're needed most. I'm a big fan of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin but I'm beginning to think she may not really be interested in being the 2012 Republican candidate for president. Our loss. Representative Michele Bachmann is also a shining star in the Republican party but I don't see her being the conservative leader we need, today. I like Michael Steele but let's face it, he isn't a real force on the national scene. Few Americans even know who Steel is, much less what the GOP supposedly represents. That shouldn't be, but sadly, it is.

Unless the Republican party can divest itself of 'go-along-get-along' leaders, even a GOP 'takeover' of congress in the 2010 elections won't change our destructive political course. We'll all go-along-to-get-along into a socialist nightmare and the America we know and love will be no more. Should that sad day arrive - and it's definitely close at hand - people will rightly ask "How did this happen?" The answer will be: "you let it happen". You voted for a slogan and a smile, ignored what was happening in Washington, D.C. then sat back and waited for your 'free health care' to kick in. Instead, you got socialism, good and hard. Too late now. America is over. Let me see your papers, Comrade.

Of course, much could happen in the next year and I could be wrong about all of this. I hope I am, I really do.

It may be that the strongest point of we the people will be that our “elected representatives” passed a law they didn’t read.

Does that kind of evidence stand up in courts? Why should it n Congress?

It seems to me to invalidate the law.

The marxists have penetrated and are raping the America we love right this very minute. They are in full ecstasy.

We must now punish them as is fitting for the violent crime they are currently carrying out.

The vast majority of the American people agree.

“It’s time to jerk their constitutional chains taut! It’s time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!! It’s time to assemble for duty, for Liberty!!”

We are beyond that now, Jim. I firmly believe it’s going to take another civil war to wrest our country back from the Maoists.

When that war begins, I will be first in line to take up arms. I’d rather die than live in 0bama/Ried/Pelosi’s Maoist utopia.

Let's talk about a smart plan to create a new nation or several new independent nations in old America rather than seethe aimlessly.

One state needs to declare independence and it can't be a landlocked state. One plan would be for millions of young US conservatives to move to the state of Washington and Canadian conservatives can do likewise with British Columbia. This is to take control of a region by sheer numbers, our own Aztlan plan.

This nation of Alaska/Washington/BC can expand east and south and transport its liberals to the east coast and Mexico as it expands.

That’s what’s missing, Republicans, right-to-life groups, conservatives scrambling to stop this. Mounting legal challenges by the dozen hoping something will stick, reading the bills, etc. As Bob Dole said, “Where’s the outrage!”

Personally, I don’t believe that shaking my fist at Congress and crying “Just you wait ‘til Election Day!” is appropriate. Or credible. And it’s good to see that not everyone continues to advocate ridiculous, toothless gum-rattling.

But what remains unclear here, is what we are to do next, and what we may appropriately suggest we do next.

For sure it is too late to place any confidence in the ballot box we will not even see for 11 months.
