Those who produce in this country now seem to be a minority. Those who take from the producers in this country now seem to be the majority.

Politicians have locked in their class privileges and will now be impossible to remove through the voting booth as their promises to take from the producers and give to the non-producers in exchange for their votes will keep them in power. Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter, as our current crop of politicians are basically the same with very little difference between them.

The true question is, are their enough producers willing to step up and change the direction of this country going forward, and the answer does not look encouraging at this point.

I made a statement on another thread that says what you are saying almost to the word. What I said was that I knew when Clinton was re -elected for the SECOND time, this country had a serious problem and the takers were outvoting the producers. The election of the communist Obama proved that beyond any doubt. There are 2 ways to stop it. Stop producing. I personally have already taken that step, I am self employed, and this past year I have only worked enough to get by. The second way is revolution, or civil war, call it what you will. The first way could lead to the second, as when people stop producing, those that are now in power will try to force that, as well.
I respect the good nature and intent of those who think this situation can be resolved peacefully but it is not going to happen, IMHO.
