They can pass whatever unjust laws they want. I still have my free will and don’t have to obey them. I have no doubt that the majority of americans feel the same way.

The obligation we have is not to the government or to the law, but to our fellow citizens and the constitution.

You are on the right track. That's what it really boils down to. We (Americans) adapt and overcome. There have been worst times for this nation - I even have living relatives that remember them -  and we're still here. When it comes down to it, we'll help each other out in spite of any government. Everyone's experience may vary according to where they live, but some way, some how, we're going to have civilization, no matter what those totalitarian loons attempt to declare upon us.
