The Health Care Bill No One Can See

There was an air of unreality in the United States Senate when I entered the Capitol building on Wednesday to record some PJTV interviews. I sat down with five U.S. senators to discuss the imminent future of the long-embattled health care bill.

We are approaching the eleventh hour for Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-NV) slowly dying health care legislation, which he insists will be passed before Christmas. This is the same bill that was to be enacted last summer, then by August, then after Labor Day, and then before Thanksgiving. Now it may be a Christmas present for the country.

The senators gave good information and offered sharp criticism of the bill. What I had not expected was to discover that, well … there is no bill.

What about the 2,074-page document we’ve been reading about that purports to be health care legislation? Oh, they replied, that bill was pulled by Reid more than a week ago along with the public option, which is now dead.....

That rather small group of tyrannical despot wannabees is steadfastly creating a growing group of revolutionaries in this country; the kind that won’t be responding with their ‘votes’.

Please contact Jim Webb. He might have the courage to stop Obamacare. Here is a copy of an email I sent to him:

“Senator Webb,

We write you as former residents of Virginia (Springfield) and hopefully soon to be residents of Virginia again.

Please oppose the the expensive series of programs now generally called “Obamacare.” It is horrible for almost all Americans and far worse for some than others.

It just gets worse and worse. Landrieu gets $300,000+ for Louisiana and now Nelson gets a Medicaid carveout for Nebraska plus a ton of other stuff for Nebraska. You need to drive home everyday how bad this bill is for all Americans and that it is even worse for Virginians than for citizens of some other states.

Thank you for your service (especially you service on the Guantanamo issue), and hopefully thank you for making sure Virginians and all other Americans know how bad Obamacare will be for them.

--Tell your Senators you want to actually see the bill and that
  you are outraged that Senate leaders are forcing their secret
  bill to a final vote.

--Tell them you oppose ObamaCare and urge them to vote "NO" on
  cloture and the final bill.

--Tell them you oppose the unconstitutional "individual mandate"
  and the oppressive taxes in the plan.

I hope that is so, but you must remember that, although the Democrats are evil, they are not stupid. They are calculating at this minute with every decision about their vote. They will vote cloture and then the bill comes up for floor vote. Here they have room to play; those Senators in endangered areas will be given dispensation to vote no, thereby allowing them to trot home and proclaim they voted against it. THis is exactly what Lieberman did, this is what Nelson will do, this is what all the endangered ones (at least the ones most important to Preacher Reid)....They can all go straight to hell.

If Ra’am Ahmanuel has Obambi sign a “bill” that wasn’t passed by both Houses (i.e., how could they vote on something that wasn’t yet written) then how can it be considered law? And if they haven’t read a bill, how can we be certain just what they voted on? Sounds like it’s all un-Constitutional to me. President can’t sign anything into law (especially something with funding) if it hasn’t been passed by Congress. And, if they haven’t read it, how can they have voted on it? And, if the Pretender in the White House can just write his own “laws” what is the purpose of Congress?

Any lawyers out there?

You are right about one thing and that is that all of congress is riddled with duplicity.

They do regularly vote against something they want knowing full well that it will pass because they have an under the table deal with others to vote for it in their place.

But I think that this time there is more at stake for them. I believe that more people are getting their news from the internet and that they are better informed.

I believe that there are more voters who will vote against the party that has passed this kind of legislation regardless of the individual dim’s vote.

I also believe that Obummer, the Marxist now posing as a Fascist, has so shocked the public that there is going to be a huge push back in the next election.
