The kids are getting stoked for sure.
After a year of bad news, I finally was able to have a good day at work yesterday. Be they ever so small, I was able to give Christmas Bonuses to all my people. Everyone was stunned, most are just happy to be employed. We have about 60% unemployment in my industry.

Every time I check the weather they've increased the snowfall another few inches.
Just now the WHDH weatherman to expect the snow to start momentarily. Look at the radar and it says it's snowing already, has looked that way for hours and there is snow up there, it's just not reaching the ground because the low air is too dry; once the air is saturated it'll start snowing like hell. I bet Inuit have a name for that!
Right now, one forecaster says 20” and another says 24.”

Before sunset I went out in 27º temps and filled the feeders. There are three on a pulley from the back deck (one's a suet feeder). I bunched them all together on the rope and then lassoed them and pulled them under the umbrella.

Greetings to all the Freepers out there this fine Saturday evening. Time for the Saturday Sortie featuring more pictures of Santa Claus, aircraft and who knows what else:-)
And remember about the little kiddies, don't want them to get upset. So on with the pictures...
Last night we saw where Santa had to borrow an A-10 to get around. Well the folks in Alaska had a better idea, the C-130 Hercules, plenty of room for the goodies and Mrs Claus gets to help Santa with the deliveries.
Of course if that Jolly Ol Elf is in a hurry there is always a faster alternative.
Back before Santa got hi-tek with his sleigh, well you will see...
Fortunately the elves at the North Pole have been able to rework the old red sleigh with some hi-tek gizmos so that Santa can make his rounds without having to worry about those pesky mid-airs...
And you know the Air Force also helps out Santa with those mid air refuelings of hot chocolate and magic dust...
And we will close out tonights Sortie with this picture of Santa and his reindeer.
(Wallpaper Size Here)
All of us here at the alfa6 abode wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year.
Stay safe out there and we will see you next Saturday with a special holiday Saturday Sortie, I hope.
Seasons Regards
