That means Democrats will be relying on at least one Republican to help them get the defense bill over a procedural bump in order to push them back on to health care. They’re crossing their fingers.

For no Democrats to back up Lieberman when Franken dissed him shows that Democrats would rather be a party of clowns than a party of asses. Maybe it’s all a horse trading ruse Lieberman’s putting on. He’ll join the Dems again if the deal is sweet enough for him.

For those that may not have heard the details... Lieberman just might look a little harder at telling the communists where to get off and here is why.
Seems the good Senator FRANKIN just had to show his azz... err, true colors with a slap at Joe. It went like this...
Franken was presiding over the Senate Thursday afternoon as Lieberman spoke about amendments he planned to offer to the bill. Lieberman asked for an additional moment to finish — a routine request — but Franken refused to grant the time.
"In my capacity as the senator from Minnesota, I object," Franken said.
"Really?" said Lieberman. "OK."
I heard the exchange on the radio, Joe was a bit pizzed. This was definitely NOT "ok."

Joe has been around many a year and to have the most junior wackjob from the Øbama Freakshow foul him in a VERY insulting putdown such as that just might hav sent Joe a strong message about where he really stands with the Øbamacommies.
