Palin Vs. Arnold: Terminating California
Conservatives4Palin ^ | December 18, 2009 | Doug Brady

Over the past few days, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in Copenhagen making the bizarre claim to anyone who will listen that his job destroying environmental regulations are somehow good for the economy. He also made the even more off the wall assertion that America's economy would be stronger if only the entire country followed California's lead in this area, and that Governor Palin's common sense skepticism to the man-made global warming religion was somehow wrong. All of these musings by the Governator were forthcoming despite the fact that foisting his regulations on California's economy have chased businesses and the jobs they create out of the Golden State like rats fleeing a sinking ship.

This environmental extremism has transformed California into an economic basket case whose government, headed by Schwarzenegger for the past 6 years, is bankrupt. We covered this silliness extensively here and Governor Palin's personal response here. Today Investor's Business Daily has an editorial in which they take another look at the one-sided debate between Governor Palin and the Governator:

Schwarzenegger has totally lost his mind.

How can he think that this environmentalist stuff is going to save California's economy when it is these "green" initiatives that have been proven detrimental to economic prosperity?

Hey Arnold, where are the damn nuclear power plants?

Arnold should keep his trap shut. My state is in ruins because of him. We got rid of one liberal idiot and instead got another liberal idiot.

Arnold's needs a place to go after he terms out as Governor and his political future doesn't look that bright, so he's going to follow Gore's lead and make the environment his cause.

....that his job destroying environmental regulations are somehow good for the economy.

A hyphen can make all the difference. As it reads now, his job is to destroy environmental regulations. If only that were true.....

Actually, it is pretty smart of him. If all the states have the same level of burdensome regulation, California may not look as bad in comparison. (sarcasm)

He will fit right in with Gore

Warmer Gore needs someone with an accent to bring him credibility

Arnold didn’t get the memo that Sarah is smarter than him. This little exchange can only play well for Sarah, since Arnold is the poster boy for everything that is wrong with RINOs.

Let me see-—who should I believe is right—the governor who led his state into deep, deep bankruptcy or the governor who left her state on solid financial footing? Hmmm, let me think about that.....I think I’ll go with Governor Palin.

Arnold is the classic example of a guy who proves by anecdote that you don’t have to be smart to read a script.
