Sarah Palin announced Thursday night that she ended a Hawaii vacation early because of the ruckus raised after she blacked out "McCain" on her sun visor in an effort to elude paparazzi.

I’m not sure why any well known person would be surprised when they are photographed; it’s part of modern life. I thought she was whining with her comment.
I say that in the respectful vein of talking to a sister or daughter who I think is a bit off base with something.

Huh... Seemed to me her original statement was more tongue in cheek than whining about not being incognito. That aside, who really cares? This is a total non-issue. She went to the beach, she wore a hat, she crossed out McCain’s name. Good for her. McCain deserved that much at a minimum after the way he treated her.
