I hate Sarah Palin, I
I just hate her! That is not an uncommon outburst from some when it comes to feelings about one of the most polarizing figures (in liberal minds) in the political arena. As I write about the political happenings of the former governor of Alaska, I am continually amazed at both reader responses and callers to my radio program, Conscience of Kansas, when it comes to the level of hatred that Palin generates from some in the public. So, who are the real Palin-haters? Is there a common factor that binds people who find their blood boiling when this womans name is mentioned? Is their argument for Palin-hate justified? I hope to create a discussion that may illuminate why some politicians just appear to be hate-magnets.

Palin haters are Obama lovers, they got what they voted for and the distruction that came with it and yet they still support Obama.Must be somthing in the water.
They hate her. They don’t know why, but they were told to hate her. She’s not an ivy league educated elitist, so she must not know anything.
Palin haters fall into 3 categories:
1) Homosexual men.
2) Ugly, liberal women.
3) Emasculated men.
Yep... I have heard that too out of the mouths of some liberals that should know better. I don't think they got it from directly watching SNL, it came from the MSM reports and liberal talking heads after....
In particular, making Sarah sound stupid with the “I can see Russia from my bedroom window” quote.
PS what's her name is Tina Fey
If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
1 John 4:20
“I know plenty of liberals and the ones who really really hate Palin...”
I know Indpendent’s and Moderate women who hate Palin because the lovvvvvvvvvvvve animals and hate hunting. They are appalled by aerial wolf hunts, etc. Meanwhile these same Independent and Moderate woman had abortions.
Libtards fear real Americans. ...So what’s new?
This has great appeal for me and I must be careful to learn more about her and just not view her as a weapon to make libtards disgorge their lunch just to get a chortle or two. I agree with her on most subjects that she discusses, but have also seen weaknesses such as her agreement with global warming idiots. Just today, an article says she believes the Earth is warming, even though the last 11 years have been cooler. Just as Newt has ripped his britches with many conservatives, she must be careful to keep her common sense and not fall for the old "Can't we all just get along", syndrome. Rush warned Newt that he will NEVER be the darling of the MSM, so why try to "Get Along" with them? Newt tried to look more "Mainstream" and was booted from office and the MSM still hates him. Even conservatives say "He has some baggage". Is it more baggage than commies and "fister's" in the White House?
Sarah is a new person to the MSM and they will be able to spin her however they want if she falls for the "Can't we just be friends?" approach, right before they give her a shiv between the ribs.
I have looked at this for awhile now and I know a vote for her would be worth it, if she did no more than cause a few strokes and heart attacks amongst the Hollywood elite. If I have to go through 4 years of Obama, they should have to go through 8 years of "Moose Stew". Makes me chuckle just to type it. I just love her for some unexplainable, mysterious, reason. I just pray that she doesn't blurt out some turd in the punch bowl like, "I want to raise taxes to be more fair", or illegal aliens deserve our money". Newt has hurt himself by appearing in the same room with Pelosi and Obama, I'm sure the photo's of her with anything left of Sean Hanity would be used against her in the coming cycle.
Christians carry the "scent" of death to those who are perishing, to those who are following the god of this world, to those who live in the universe of "The Lie".
She puts the lie to all the promises made by leftist feminism. She does everything they promise, without living by their dictates nor in their world of hatred for all things traditional and good.
And this can be looked at, as well, that if you belong to the god of THIS world (Satan), his people love you.
That’s the quote! They literally quote her as saying that! Then When I point out that it was a SKIT on SNL, they look confused and walk away.............
The hate may be multi-layered now, but my thoughts on the real underlying reason are that democrats see Palin as a threat.
Her arrival on the national stage was a clear and enormous threat to Obama, and the democrats. All the attacks on her personally (as a woman etc etc), her family, her record (book banning) was due to that. It is that simple.
Feminism is not a woman’s support group, at least not any longer, it is a group completely aligned to liberal ideologies, and that is the case throughout the western world. Just like environmentalists. In the US, you can classify them as progressives - the leaders are more or less extreme liberals. Feminists feel they have some sway over women, shape their views (probably correctly), so they launched their feminist attack on Palin to stop women deserting the democrats (remember the Hillary voters). But it has nothing to do really about Palin as a woman, except perhaps that she is a danger on their hold on women as she could represent a different type of role model, and hence the doubling down on the attacks, that still are as strong as ever.
So, Palin is “hated” because she is a republican/conservative that is a threat to the democrats, and that feeling is and remains intense because of the ferocity of the democrats (and their affiliated groups), the media and others in the 2008 campaign as well as her continuing thrat to Obama etc - it really is as simple as that.
The democrats perhaps know the appeal Palin could have better than many republicans.
think if you will...back to September of 2006..unemployment 4.5%..gasoline at 1.90/gal...and the MSM lunatics shrieking about the “worst economy ever”.....and its the same MSM lunatics today ...hysterical over Sarah...who IMHO...is about the only leader potentially capable of restoring economic leadership to America.
My brother, his wife, and their daughter HATE . . . anything opposite of or contrasting with Liberalism under the guise of Democrat. And it makes no sense. My brother is self-employed. He gets his insurance from his wife who teaches school. Daughter wants FREE health care because of a series of probably psychosomatic diseases. [She’s been run through spinal taps, MRIs, CAT scans, and every test they have for diseases that show up in the blood stream, but she still has various symptoms.] So she takes Prozac.
It just doesn’t make sense that someone who is an Entrepreneur would want to be taxed out of existence. I don’t think he puts much thought to it and bases everything on his “feelings” or something. And the ANGER! Whoa, big time ANGER in that household.
I wonder if Anger can be used like a Drug for some people and they get some kind of emotional satisfaction out of it.
Personally, I prefer the “drug” of joy and love and peace. One major difference between my brother and me is that while he’s usually frowning, I’ve got a silly, happy grin on my face.
I was thinking more on the line that she could kill a moose, clean it, butcher it, cook it, and serve me in my Lazy Boy, and still manage to have a litter of kids. She is nice too.( I would clean the rifle cause I'm kinda picky about that)
Southern men just think on a different level than others.
Woman wanted: Must cook and clean and have boat. Please send picture of boat.
But sooner or later, it'll have to be a former addiction. People will get tired of the whole process. It's an abuse of trust, this hoodwinking of millions of people into thinking Sarah Palin's a dimwit, just because that's what you want them to think.
And as this realization sinks in...the realization that Obama was elected, just because some sheltered, spoiled media stars wanted it to work out that way...please understand, the realization is going to sink in silently. It's a humbling thing to have to admit you made a mistake, just because someone wanted you to make it, and you did some obeying when you really should have been doing some thinking.
People aren't that vocal about their humbling experiences.
And I don't think all their buyers' remorse over Obama is going to immediately translate into goodwill for Palin. Far from it. But I do think there will be more than a few second thoughts about the qualifications of the morning talk show celebrities to make our decisions for us, about who's a genius and who's a dumbass. I don't think anyone objects to the notion that Couric, Gibson, et al carried an energized agenda to make Palin look like a dimwit. I don't think anyone contests the idea that the plan worked, exactly as it was intended to. What I think people are divided about, is whether they should carry some resentment about what was done, and how easy it was.
And I think that's going to shift, over time, in a single direction...as people gradually figure out they were manipulated.
I expect Palin will be refining her techniques, as well. You don't get to be Governor of Alaska without demonstrating some capabilities at learning new things, especially about how to relate to people. She's young and energetic enough to still be learning, and she's shown some signs of doing this learning. It's learning she needs to do, in order to reach out to an audience bigger than, and culturally different from, the audience to which she's accustomed.
That's exactly where Bill Clinton was his first year out of Arkansas. By the time Clinton was in the national limelight as long as Palin has been by now, it was...lessee...seven months? He was still campaigning, right? The whole Travel Office scandal, Vince Foster, Hillary Healthcare, Quota Queen -- months and years away. Public relations boondoggles, every single one. And not just "oopsies"; they were products of inexperience in performing on a national stage.
Thanks H.O. for that photo! I haven’t seen that one, it is amazing what that photo conveys and it’s all good as far as I’m concerned.
True, but context is eveything. For example, I recall:
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
- Matthew 10:34-39
In the end, none of us can escape personal responsibility for our actions. To one - forgive. To another - fight. It's only inconsistent if the context is unknown.
