CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. Tennessee investigators say a 4-year-old boy was found roaming his neighborhood in the night, drinking beer and wearing a little girl's dress taken from under a neighbor's Christmas tree.
The child's mother, 21-year-old April Wright, tells WTVC-TV the boy "wants to go to jail because that's where his daddy is." Wright says she and the boy's father are going though a divorce.

The question is whether this is another hidden cost of the “War on Drugs(TM)”....
What about the poor little girl whose Christmas dress got stolen? No end to this story.
To each his own. I’ll find other things to laugh about. But by all means have a ball. I’m sure there are some leprosy victims in need of skewering too.
I would guess that will take you several decades.

Prayers for the family.
Hmmm...
Funny how these thing just happen!
Probably an Obama voter.
Must have been east Tennessee.
(And daddy is probably on the Volunteer football team.)
I'll have to take your word for it. I don't think I've quaffed a PBR since my college days.
I'll admit it...my beer tastes were absolutely spoiled during my four-plus years in Germany. As an American, it was a special treat to visit a McDonald's in Amsterdam, and get a Heineken on tap with my Big Mac.
The McDonald's in Koblenz, Germany was the best though: Konigsbacher Pils on tap with my Viertelpfunder (Quarter Pounder). Konigsbacher is my absolute favorite beer of all time. Too bad it's not exported to the US. Domestically, my favorite is Shiner Beer. It has a German robustness to it.
How do you pronounce Big Mac in German? LOL!!! Big Mac!
I would say it would be telling a four year old boy that his father is in jail. Young minds do not process these things well.
What ever happened to keeping the innocent innocent?
Thanks for stating what should be obvious to all on this forum.
What a sad story.
grow up putz
You seem angry! Too much coffee this morning?
Often its women showing up at the jail to visit their interned boy friends. I had occasion to so some work at the Wooster, Ohio Courthouse/Justice Center about 20 years ago. Couldn’t believe the number of women showing up for visiting hours. Think it was at least one per prisoner.
Actually, you are doing an excellent job at this moment.
And mommy says she was worried about kidnappers and a stomach pump?
And you get upset with me for laughing?
What a knee slapper!
It’s laugh or cry at such a pathetic story.
Hey, I like your moniker. I can almost smell it.
Poor kid. Hope things work out for him, though neither of the parents fill me with confidence or hope.
