Ben Smith has a great catch the North Dakota Republican Party fronting its website with a joke about the White House party crashers demanding President Obamas birth certificate.
The news here is the steady mainstream Republican acceptance of a deeply nutty and quasi-treasonous conspiracy theory about whether the president of the United States is really an American citizen. Yes, its just a joke here. But whens the last time a Democratic Party web site fronted a joke about, say, whether Sarah Palin is the real mother of Trig Palin? (She is, by the way.)

The Democrat Party websites do not need to, they have CBS, MSNBC and Kos for that.

All the douche bag in chief has to do is show everyone the Birth Cert. Afterall, it is required by law.

Loyalty to the United States is now confused with loyalty to one man. The Nazis called this the “fuhrer principle.”

"about whether the president of the United States is really an American citizen" Stupid. Nobody is questioning whether he's a citizen.
We're questioning whether he meets the Constitution's requirement of "Natural Born Citizen".
These idiots insist on attacking without acquainting themselves with the issue.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait until the 2010 Republican Convention is convened. It will be condemned as “quasi-treasonous” for being convened for the express purpose of removing the first African-American president.

That's how it begins. No one must question Dear Leader's legitimacy, or else one finds oneself up on Treason charges.
It's everything the Constitution was written to prevent.

Now it’s treasonous to ask for public release of a public record obtainable for less than $10 but being concealed from release at a legal cost approaching $2 million?
Seems to me the people paying Barry’s legal fees are treasonous, if we are right about what they are concealing at such great expense and for no reasonable explanation

Nancy Pelosi certified Obama’s eligibility. What document did she see?
We demand to know.

Exactly.
The communists also in practice use this principle.
Lenin, Stalin, Mao, “Ho Chi Minh,” etc. all demanded personal loyalty (and ruthlesslessly eliminated rivals).
It is a mindset exactly opposite that of a free people.

The left goes into spasms at the mention of ‘birth certificate’ or ‘birther’ and they need help dealing with this predicament. Every republican and conservative publication, broadcast and website needs to have at least one Orly Taitz article and an ongoing petition to request documents proving the origins of Obama. This will help innoculate the left against the truth they abhor. Like vampires and garlic, the birther issue is their bane.

Obama has never shown his long form birth certificate and all evidence suggests he was not born in Hawaii as his supporters claim. To use silly insults like truly nutty and weird phrases like quasi-treasonous does not make it less so.
Obama’s supporters claim he was born in two different hospitals. In his book Dreams from my Father Obama claimed his mother and father lived together in Hawaii. Obama’s mother was in Seattle Washington two weeks after his supposed birth in Hawaii and she didnt return to Hawaii until after Obama Sr left.
There are no baby pictures of Obama in Hawaii, no witnesses that saw his mother at the time etc.
All there is is a copy of a supposed birth certificate which has been proved to be fraudulent.
Grow up, stop the childish name calling and maybe learn a little something.

Uh oh, they must be getting nervous. No longer content to just spout Racist! or Bigot!
Now they’re resorting to talk of treason. Well, If it be treason...count me in!

Hey Steve-b
No more posts from this guy. He is “passing” for a writer.
Seems that the “birthers” have hit a sensitive spot. I say keep up the pressure until he unseals ALL OF HIS RECORDS!
The bastard, and he actually is, is trying to hide something or, many things from all of us. Birth Cert, Parents’ marriage license, schools attended and grades earned, and financial backers. Get out in the open Obama, you Marxist PIG.

Funny, the same A-holes who are shouting big tent for the GOP are the same ones making fun of anyone that isn’t a RINO loving liberal. I really hope somebody actually picks up on this line of bull and we get to purge the party very soon.

IT was for the ‘record’ Hillary Clinton that first set in motion that BamKennedy was NOT eligible for office of president. NOT Republicans, but the truth has never stopped the smear merchants.

"All the douche bag in chief has to do is show everyone the Birth Cert. Afterall, it is required by law. "
You beat me to it...you're exactly right.
IF the democrat party is sooooooo offended by the "birthers", then why hasn't someone said, "Hey, Barry muh-man, lets just show them the damned long-form birth certificate and shut them up once and for all."
What a perfect slam against the "birthers" it would be.
It is required by law, so that puts the impetus on obama and his obamabots to prove it exists, not on us to prove it doesn't.
I have to show my drivers license occasionally to prove I am who I say I am. I'm 64-years old and I've had to show my birth certificate hundreds of times in my life for one thing or another, most of them before I was obama's age.
The obamabots will always try to reverse the burden of proof on this issue, but they are the ones who are doing the coverup.
I might, possibly, accept the premise except that he has spent millions to hide this piece of paper, not to mention locking up all school, college, and other records that would have needed a genuine birth certificate for issue.
Calling us "birthers" and shouting "prove it", proves nothing except the obamabot are dodging the issue. Maybe I should read that book, "Argueing with Idiots" and get some pointers...but I'd rather just laugh in their face and walk away.
