Andrew Breitbart Summoned to Grand Jury About ACORN

Big Government founder Andrew Breitbart has been summoned to New York for a grand jury appearance tomorrow morning, reports Andrea Shea King at the Radio Patriot.
Breitbart's appearance is in regard to the sting operation exposing ACORN that was broken in the media by Big Government.
Breitbart informed King about that the grand jury summons when he explained to her he was unable to appear on her radio show this evening because he would be in transit to New York at the time. King is a contributor to Big Government and its sister site, Big Hollywood.
Breitbart did not disclose whether he would cooperate with the grand jury or invoke any constitutional rights against testifying. Nor did he say whether the 'pimp' and the 'prostitute' in the ACORN sting operation, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, respectively, had been called to testify.

Thanks Bruce. So I wonder if they are focusing on that tape? Or the whole series of tapes? Also, Breitbart says there are others which are yet to be released. He recently said he may wait to release them before next year's elections should Holder fail to investigate ACORN.

I’m thinking this may be coming out of the suit filed in NY by ACORN and the laughably named Center for Constitutional Rights. Huh? Sorry. I don't understand the process. Are there sometimes Grand Juries involved with civil suits? I assumed only for criminal.

Andrew Breitbart can testify as to absolutely nothing that is not hearsay evidence, as far as I understand it. It's unclear from the article if this is a New York State grand jury or a federal grand jury sitting in New York. Federal law permits grand juries to receive, and act on, hearsay evidence; New York State law does not.
