I’ve only read about this here. What is wrong with these crazy airlines and TSA and the MSM not reporting this. I’m just sick at the thought of where this is going.
Waiting any second now for the “this is a hoax” crowd here on FR to show up. They act as if 9/11 and the MPLS fling imams never happened.
Very simple. It comes down to $$$$ and PC.
I did a complete analysis on this incident in my weekly True Crime post.
http://fishtruecrime.blogspot.com/2009/12/121309.html
This particular interview was very helpful as I too could not righteously conclude that the incident was a “Dry Run”.
It was definitely some, ahem, Muslim people behaving very, very badly and like the fellow interviewed here, we can’t allow political correctness kill us dead.
Almost all of the passengers on the original flight chose not to continue on when the bulk of the unruly Mohammad crowd was readmited, nor did the original flight crew.
This was not a nothing incident and AirTran behaved almost as badly as the fine Muslim brothers in how it mocked the original reports.
The fellow interviewed here is very much a veteran flyer and he portrays it as a very tense incident.
For shame on AirTran.
As always, bow down low in submission to the death cultists, and tell the normal people to go to hell.
Before I watch it, is this the guy that was never on the plane or the one that was on the plane.
The most important part starts at 8:25 when he tells us NO SECURITY officials ever come on board flight 297.
Air Tran obviously doesn't think unruly Islamics need to be treated like potential security threats.
Guess I'm never flying Air Tran
wow, I just know keith olbermann will cover this tomorrow night. No wait, I mean I’ll hear crickets, thats it.

He was on the plane. The initial passenger who reported was also on the plane, too, btw, but he didn’t continue on the flight after he got off it and therefore his name was not on the passenger list for the final flight. (However, neither he nor anybody else was involved in any heroics.)
The interview was interesting. This man sounded very sensible; he said it was very tense and alarming. Still, he was willing to give the Muslims the benefit of the doubt and said that they were probably just acting badly for some reason and it wasn’t a “dry run.”
I initially dismissed it, and I agree that it probably wasn’t a “dry run.” But I think what they are trying to do is disrupt things, confuse the system, and stage so many little incidents like this that it will allow a real attack to slip through.
Something on that page crashes my Mac.
As always, bow down low in submission to the death cultists, and tell the normal people to go to hell.
Although I know that this is being done in political circles and in our society, I do believe that the airlines have a higher motive than that... LOL...
They have the motive of money and marketing... which drives them to do these kinds of things... :-)
As far as I can see, this is all about money that the airline can make -- or rather "lose" if the story really plays out in the full view of the public and also the "marketing angle" in that they would have a marketing disaster on their hands.
So, no..., I do not think that the airline was thinking about Muslims... I think they were thinking about the "dollar" and purely "business"... LOL...
Not mine, although I have a flash blocker. I only activated the one flash item that I wanted. I’ve heard that most application crashes on the Mac are from the buggy flash program... LOL..
Very simple. It comes down to $$$$ and PC.
Ummmm..., it all comes down to $$$$... nothing else... :-)
I think they're looking for a payday like the flying imams of Minnesota got.
So far there are an insufficient number of bodies to move security above political correctness ... or avoidance of a lawsuit.
