Arizona sheriff ups the ante against his foes
L.A. Times ^ | 12/12/2009 | Nicholas Riccardi

Reporting from Phoenix - The day after the federal government told Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio that he could no longer use his deputies to round up suspected illegal immigrants on the street, the combative Arizona sheriff did just that.

He launched one of his notorious "sweeps," in which his officers descend on heavily Latino neighborhoods, arrest hundreds of people for violations as minor as a busted headlight and ask them whether they are in the country legally.

"I wanted to show everybody it didn't make a difference," Arpaio said of the Obama administration's order.

Arpaio calls himself "America's toughest sheriff" and remains widely popular across the state. For two decades, he has basked in publicity over his colorful tactics, such as dressing jail inmates in pink underwear and housing them in outdoor tents during the brutal Phoenix summers.

But he has escalated his tactics in recent months, not only defying the federal government but launching repeated investigations of those who criticize him. He recently filed a racketeering lawsuit against the entire Maricopa County power structure. On Thursday night, the Arizona Court of Appeals issued an emergency order forbidding the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office from searching the home or chambers of a Superior Court judge who was named in the racketeering case.

My concern is that the snubbed and insulted tyrants in the Obama Syndicate will take a hissy fit and send their blacksuited DHS gestapo down to pay Joe a surprise visit about 0300 some Morning like they did to Ramos and Compean, figuring on dragging him out of his house at gunpoint and grinding his nose into the dirt of his front lawn for a while just to make their point before hauling him off to a Federal kangaroo court - like they did with Ramos & Compean.

Sheriff Joe might even get one of their old solitary cages for the next 20 years or so and get to call his family for 5 minutes a month.

Or he and his Deputies along with a local Vigilance Committee can be waiting and ready to welcome them.

The Obama Gang might be due to learn about how far they can bully a sovereign State and County before somebody gets bit.

It’s gotta start somewhere.

High time, ain’t it?

Seems like others reckon it’s high time, too.

If Sheriff Arpaio offered to deputize every legal gun owner in Arizona and surrounding states, I am sure many would voluntarily take rotating shifts maintaining a secure perimeter around his home and workplace in numbers far too daunting for the Feddies to undertake any sort of effort to forcibly take him into custody.

If the Feds tried, half of those deputized would be chronicling it on cell phone video, digital cams, PDAs, and the like and before you could say “uploaded” it would be viral beyond belief on the internet, emailed to relatives and family members and media outlets across the country and around the world.

It would be an effective approach to insuring that this administration, and its apostate “justice department” would have a truckload of rotten egg on its face.

One almost wishes the 0-Bots were stupid and full of hubris enough to try it!

As usual the press has only half the story, ignoring the misdeeds of those being sued.

Mary Rose got loans from Chicanos por la Causa and then voted on issues regarding money for the group without disclosing her CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

We shouldn’t be surprised if Hussein’s Attorney Corporal tries to pin some Federal charges on Arpaio.In fact,I’d be willing to bet that that’s *exactly* what he wants to do.

And that is what it will take. When these brave men stand up and stick their necks out(can you imagine having to say that about a man upholding his Constitutional duties??). They are only as strong as is the Constitution as We The People behind them and what 'We' are willing to do to support those who stand up for us. Otherwise we are powerless and no better then slaves.

Update on another defender of America.

Barletta will try again to kick Kanjorski out of Congress
Pocono Record | Staff Writer
FR Posted 12/9 by RBW in PA

Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta has announced a third run for the 11th Congressional District seat held by Democrat Paul Kanjorski. The announcement came in a five-minute video on his Web site which attributed Barletta's narrow 2008 loss to the “coattails” of Barack Obama's presidential election.

The video quoted political pundits who called Kanjorski “ethically challenged.” Barletta himself pointed to government bank bailouts “to little effect” and politicians “who show no accountability and no respect” for tax dollars. “Businesses of all sizes have fallen into bankruptcy,” he said in the recorded message. Barletta also criticized Congressional health care reform legislation for putting decisions “in the hands of politicians and bureaucrats.” (Excerpt) Read more at poconorecord.com ...

==========================================

Barletta's narrow 2008 loss was attributed to the “coattails” of Barack Obama's presidential election.

That was then---this is now. Ohaha's wild spending and socialistic policies have made him very toxic......he is poisoning the chances of Dem candidates.....and they all know it.

REFERENCE NJ and Va candidates---the only two Nov 2009 statewide races----- won Independents by a 2-1 margin, (66%-33% and 60%-30%, respectively). McCain lost Independents in each state to Obama a year earlier.

==================================================

Barletta should hope and pray Ohaha puts the WH machine at Kanjorski's disposal----like Ohaha did in NJ (where the WH's lack of political savvy was glaringly on display).

Ohaha was heavly invested in the NJ gubernatorial race. His carefully-laid plans----for installing a permanent Dem majority went haywire. Pulling out all the stops for NJ made Ohaha a VERY good target for voters disgusted with Ohaha’s policies.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR NJ's CORZINE TO WIN. The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team,
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions,
(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with Latinos (kept secret from voters),
(f) Ohaha campaigned in the state three times, Biden was there twice.
(g) Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly in costly NY media markets.
(h) The crooked NJ Democrat Machine was also running at warp speed.

The New Jersey race was considered a "squeaker" that would go on till all hours. But two hours after the polls closed, the Repub was declared the winner with a comfortable 4-point margin (would have been higher were it not for Dem voter fraud).

Other pertinent facts:

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner Chris Chirstie about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign.

And still Corzine lost decisively.

THE UPSHOT According to Ohaha's slimy Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, Ohaha was "busy with other matters" election night and "wasn't really concerned" with election results...an indication the WH is sucking up valium and vodka in order to anesthetize themselves from the aftermath.....trying to convince themselves the election was not a referendum on Obama.

The tsunami is ahead---in 2010-12.

===============================================

Kanjorski's official campaign finance records filed with the FEC, and state election commission, should be scrutinized for possible violations. Determine if names of Kanjorski's contributors are legit and whether Kanjorski illegally used campaign funds, and whether Kanjorski received campaign contributions to influence votes. Kanjorski and Obama may have colluded to give him something of value, a govt gratuity, a job, etc, in exchange for votes.

FBI TIP PAGE http://tips.fbi.gov/ (you may remain anonymous)

=========================================

THE NEVERENDING WH SLUSH FUNDS Obama already has a huge slush fund:

(a) 80% of the trillion dollar stim is unspent and under his control......that he is using to finance endangered Dem.

(b) June 9, 2009 Obama announced, "Several financial institutions are set to pay back $68B to taxpayers." Taxpayers assumed that would be returned to the general funds from whence it had come .......in order to pay down the debt. The truth, however, is that the money returned is finding new life as part of what amounts to a Treasury Dept-controlled slush fund....to finance candidates.

ANOTHER SLUSH FUND The US Senate may break their own rules-----and go against the will of the vast majority of US Citizens----to pass their health care bill.......by using the nuclear option.

Remember that the first four years of ObamaCare is to amass $$billions. Period. Healthcare does not kick in til 2013.

Another gimmick pushes much of the legislation’s costs off the federal budget and onto the private sector by requiring individuals and employers to purchase health insurance....or pay a hefty fine or go to jail (only illegals are exempt from this provision).

=========================================

Any fool can plainly see that Ohaha is frantic----rushing to get money into the hands of ACORN, SEIU, immigrant groups, and others, BEFORE the Nov 2010-12 elections. Stupid Dems know that, for them, it's curtains in 2010-12---unless massive voter fraud takes place. They need to buy votes, and are pulling out all the stops to get billions into the hands of their operatives---ACORN, SEIU, immigrant groups, and others.

Sooner or later the Obamabots in their arrogance and intoxication with power are very likely to do something that may touch off the powder keg of collective resentment and loathing that a seeming majority of Americans currently feel for our own government.

In 1775 it was Lexington and Concord, beyond which for many of the revolutionary principles it was victory or death; there was no going back once those shots were fired.

Who is going to fire the first shot this time?

The violent persecution of a popular figure like Sheriff Joe in order to “make an example” of a recalcitrant local official who dares to stand up against federal tyranny might well do it.

They’ve gotten away with this sort of abuse before with Ilian Gonzalez, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Ramos & Compean etc. so often that it would surprise the hell out of them if any mere subject or rabble of insolent subjects had the audacity to actually dare resist them the next time they go out to terrorize imprudent subjects who get out of line.

Of course these systemic government terror tactics are intentionally designed to intimidate the greater population into cowed compliance, and by all appearances they have thus far worked perfectly.

Terror and intimidation are the tyrant’s favorite tools.
Always have been.

Anybody who goes busting such a persecuted friend out of a Federal lockup is going to need help, and lots of it - not to mention some pretty sophisticated technology and skill.

There is a very strong possibility that someone will get seriously hurt or killed along the way, and there is always the law of unintended consequences to consider.
Collateral casualties are a strong possibility.

If, (hypothetically speaking, of course) anyone could pull such a liberation of a political prisoner off from the clutches of a powerful rouge, anticonstitutional, criminal tyranny, then we could probably assume that the tea parties were over and the revolt was officially on.

I have a feeling that the established ruling elite would see it that way and respond accordingly. The Obama Syndicate would not be amused, to say the very least.

Need I remind you that communists and Fascists are a notoriously vindicative lot?

Then it would be up to History to ultimately determine whether the inevitable bloodbath which follows would be recorded as a “Revolution” where the agents for reform or change ultimately prevail, or a “Civil War” where they do not, and the previous system prevails and continues.

Either way we end up with a lot of shallow graves, rubble and ashes, vacant chairs, and broken hearts.

Is there any other alternative to revolt besides we the People failing to push back while being steadily bulldozed down into penury and servitude by our ambitious and greedy ruling elite?

God; I hope so.... but is there even such an option yet remaining to us?

...Anybody???

There was a time when it was thought that the “unpleasantness” of 1861 - 5 could have been avoided, and some in retrospect wonder if it might have been.

But at some point it became inevitable, didn’t it?

Can the gathering storm which now casts it’s dark and ominous shadow across America still be avoided, or is it already too late?

Has our History become so unlearned that we must again repeat it’s bloody, horrible lesson?

Will we ever learn?

Stay tuned; we live in interesting times.
