Jefferson was a Federalist. He would like a strong central government. Can’t understand why Republicans like him so much. He was not one of us.
Honestly? I think the “recruitment” point would’ve passed a LONG time ago, were that group of men still in charge. Heck, if they were still around I’d wager a good-sized bet that the tree would’ve already been watered a FEW times...
