TRENTON, NJ The New Jersey Senates health committee on December 7 passed a bill that would require fluoride to be added to public water supplies throughout the state, The Star-Ledger reported December 8.
Environmental advocates, utility companies and some parents object to the bill (A3709/S2856), which would require public and private water utilities to start adding fluoride within a year of the laws enactment.
Some lawmakers say the bill would be too costly to the consumer, yet the Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee voted 6-0 with three abstentions to approve the bill.
There are more than 6 million households in the state.

Whether or not you want it.
Whether or not you want to pay for it.
Whether or not you can
afford to pay for it.
Welcome to New Jersey.

Has any FR ever checked on the stats of fluoride (what it really is) and what it does to the human body over a period of time? It’s really really scarry.

So NJ is adding a known carcinogen to their water. In 1990 fluoride was found to be an equivocal carcinogen by the National Cancer Institute Toxicology Program. Lovely.

Well ya know its not like any other products have flouride in them.

Pharmaceutical Company executives started crying when they heard the great news.
Crossing fingers and sending cash in hopes of the Bill passing in the full Senate.

Pity. New Jersey was one of the few states where this wasn’t standard procedure. Looks like it’s time for a Brita filter.

Fluoride is a heavy metal, it’s a by-product of aluminum production and at one time, twenty or thirty years ago, was being spewed from the stacks at the aluminum smelters all over the county. It never goes away. In WA state, where I live, the cows were going down and had to be shot. The farmers near the smelter, won a big law suit. It has been suggested that putting fluoride in the water was a government device to dispose of the fluoride.
The symptoms of fluoride poisoning are very similar to lead poisoning.

Strike that Brita thing. It's time for an activated alumina filter, whatever that is.

To: Eva
Your observations about fluoride effects are noteworthy, but fluoride is not a heavy metal. It’s an ionic compound of fluorine, which is a gas.

Fluoride is a heavy metal, its a by-product of aluminum productionDeceased Alzheimer's patients have been found to have an increased amount of Aluminum in their brains. I always thought it was because of the aluminum pans they used to use. Instead, it very well could be the water.
