WASHINGTON -- The Rev. Jesse Jackson has joined black lawmakers in their push to get the White House to do more to directly help African-American communities disproportionately hurt by the nation's severe economic recession.

Mr. Jackson, who lamented that he was not invited to President Barack Obama's recent jobs summit, said he has requested a meeting with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to talk about economic aid for depressed minority communities. No meeting has been set.

I simply want the definition of a “BLACK JOB”......which makes me curious about his definition of a “WHITE JOB” and a “BROWN JOB”...or “OTHER COLOR JOB”....

The more he talks the better. All he's doing is alienating better than 2/3rds of the voting public. No wonder boy blunder came out rather strongly against this. He knows this would not sit well with a great majority of people who voted for him, many now unemployed themselves who would not benefit from this “initiative.”

No kidding. I can't count how many times I have had blacks trying to get a job at my work. It is appalling to see that they cannot properly fill out an application for employment, they can't spell (and don't seem ashamed about it), they dress like idiots with underwear showing, and talk "lazy" like they have a handful of marbles in their "moufs".

And liberals want to call me racist for not hiring these ingrates? Liberal policies are exactly why blacks are failing today....not whitey.

I had a new cable line installed yesterday and the independent contractor {for Comcast} was a young, articulate, polite, well trained black man.

Andre, was a half hour late, but he called and let me know that he was enroute.

He worked outside in 20 degree weather with no whining.

His pants were high enough that I didn't see plumbers crack and he enjoyed what he was doing.

My new HDTV is functioning perfectly with the new line and neither the line nor I cared that the installer was black.

Andre didn't need jesse lobbying osamaobama for a "black jobs initiative", he has his own initiative.
