In this particular area of Denver, the police are aware that there is a gang problem. Why the hell not have a plain clothes “sting operation”. Some cop acting as a drunk but with plain clothesmen ,and women of course, close by and watching.

I sick to bleeding-gums death of those kind of headlines. Like you I got jumped and worked over (BOW) by a bunch of ignorant punks. They were pretty outspoken advocates for racial harmony. A mild concussion was all I got, but it really played hell with my previously friendly attitude. I think two legged animals of every hue just use race as an excuse to pull that crap, and they really do make life miserable for normal human beings. Politicians, and 'community leaders' who egg them on should go to jail for it. I agree with you that the Obama presidency has emboldened a lot of black thugs, and racial tensions have been exacerbated greatly as a result. Personally I'm running out of optimism. Our country is perishing for lack of real leadership, and a functioning moral compass.
You’re right, Windflier. In Atlanta they are just as vicious to black folks. I lost a good friend from Kenya, a coworker, to some POS who shot him for less than 50 bucks.
If I had the bully pulpit like Obama has, I'd sure as hell point out to as wide an audience as I could that 1)only a bunch of pansies would use the kind of chicken-shit tactics gangs use, and 2)their members must be really stupid to not realize that they are as responsible as any "oppressor" might be for causing grief and suffering for their own people!

Eugenicists beginning with Margaret Sanger (Planned Parenthood founder and Hitler fan-club vice pres.) looked at black people and saw a teeming mass of “undesireables”.
She and those of her ilk have been targeting the black community for destruction ever since, strategically placing Planned Parenthood clinics in, or near schools in many predominantly black neighborhoods across America,and quietly conducting a racial genocide of unborn black babies ever since Roe v Wade made it easier for the merchandising of death.

You know what really sucks is that the fallout from incidents like this creates unecessary enmity between blacks and whites.
Sure, the vast majority of whites will be able to employ discernment, but the knuckle-draggers and even not-so-knuckle-draggers will condemn blacks in a more universal manner.

Probably true. Me? I don’t care what color you are. If you come after me,and threaten my my life, you get a bullet. I already had one life threatening experience 34 years ago when I was junior in college. I was unarmed, and survived only by the grace of God. I have been armed ever since.
Well, I feel a lot better about this story now. What you said makes it all OK.
And those headlines will include the words "racist" and "hate crime", referring, of course, to the white man that defended himself.

I point that first out to lefties all the time, that blacks bear the brunt of high black crime rates. They largely completely ignore it.
Until we can have a national conversation about the problem without those pointing out the problem being dubbed racists, I don’t see any effective solutions on the horizon. Sadly so for multiple reasons.
Reminds me of when I worked in down town Oakland in the 80’s. There was a young black guy who preyed on women eating their lunch in the veranda area of the office building. He was labeled the “kicker†because he would walk up to his victim as they were eating and kick them in the head hard then run away. Several co-workers were hospitalized including a very sweet young asian girl I knew. She got a concussion. Several of us guys would time our breaks and lunches in an effort to catch him. The OPD got him first and he went away for awhile. The justice system recycled him back to the street and he resumed his hobby. This time he made a bad mistake. He targeted three women and one man, all off duty Alameda County deputies on their lunch hour. According to the OKLD Tribune he “resisted†arrest and sustained a broken elbow and several ribs. We never saw him again. :)

I think you hit the nail right on the head. These gangbangers have grown up in a environment that probably included broken families (thanks welfare state), drug and alcohol addiction (thanks liberal philosophy), and the consequential violence that goes with those things. Hence, the strategy of hanging with others to protect oneself morphs from the defensive to the offensive because they have also been taught that society is unfair to them and that they have no chance at a good future. But in the end, we all have the choices to make whether we are good or evil. These gangbangers have no positive value to society, irregardless of color, and personally I think should be killed without mercy or regard. Their entire philosophy is doing evil. Nothing better to me than when two or more gangbangers kill each other irregardless of the reason.
