Registered voters nationally are divided about President Barack Obama’s job approval rating. 46% approve of his job performance while 44% disapprove. One in ten voters is unsure.
This is the first time the president has lost majority support on this question since taking office. When Marist last asked this question in October, 53% of voters gave the president high marks.
Partisanship is alive and well here, but Mr. Obama has slipped slightly among voters in both parties. 77% of Democrats approve of the president’s job performance compared with 12% of Republicans. Two months ago, 84% of Democrats and 21% of Republicans gave him a thumbs-up. Independents remain divided, 41% approve while 44% disapprove.
“As 2009 comes to a close, President Obama’s goal of unifying the nation and reducing the partisan divide is coming up short,” says Dr. Lee M. Miringoff, Director of The Marist College Poll.

I heard one of 0bama’s most ardent liberal supporters say yesterday “He’s a one term president.” The guy was bummin he had to say it but he had to say it. LOL!!!!!!
He aint in the tank but he’s headed there. FOX today was reporting his poll plummet has been faster than any other President....and gave comparisons as to where recent Presidents were 10 1/2 months into first administration.
Those numbers are still HIGHLY INFLATED!
Soon they will need to dig a hole in the floor to chart his poll.

For the 12th consecutive month, the latest “David’s Presidential Poll” has Obama’s approval rating at 0%. This is the lowest rating of any President!

In the building where I work, we have about 100 people. I’d be really hard-pressed to find a dozen who support 0bama. The ones who voted for him are all saying that he’s a whack who never should’ve gotten in. The media did a tried-and-true formula for getting Zero elected (which worked for Klinton, too): manufacture him into a celebrity. I hope that the people who chose to live in denial and vote for this loser have learned something here.
I’ll give Zero props on one thing: he energized conservatives like no republican ever could and is graphically showing what a load of crap liberalism is.

At first glance I thought it said “Marxist” poll.
He should still be doing well in that one.
“Registered” voters, not “Likely.” Subtract 2-3 more % points.
Notice the spin “slight” losses. Slight, heck, it’s a plummet.

No way, I don’t belive a word of this. Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell swamped Corzine and Deeds with Independent voters this past November, so how, according to Marist, is Dumbo tied among Independents. No way.
I have 11 neighbors on my cul de sac. The one that had an Obama sign in his front yard has been laid-off for about 6 months now.
The irony is just delicious.

This just in from White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs: President Obama does not recognize the Marist poll. He only recognizes the Marxist poll in which Marxist poll other Marxists. The president is at 99% in that poll.
