It dawned with the warmest winter on record in the United States. And when the sun sets this New Year's Eve, the decade of the 2000s will end as the warmest ever on global temperature charts.
Warmer still, scientists say, lies ahead.
Through 10 years of global boom and bust, of breakneck change around the planet, of terrorism, war and division, all people everywhere under that warming sun faced one threat together: the buildup of greenhouse gases, the rise in temperatures, the danger of a shifting climate, of drought, weather extremes and encroaching seas, of untold damage to the world humanity has created for itself over millennia.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told them they had "a powerful opportunity to get on the right side of history" at a year-ending climate conference in Copenhagen.
Once again, however, disunity might keep the world's nations on this side of making historic decisions.

A concerted effort by the Left to take over the globe in the name of climate change is nothing more than a power play.. a means to an end, total control.
If the earth has been cooling for the past 10 years, how can it be the warmest decade?

Yep, the alarmists are out in full cry on the eve of Copenhagen.
Never mind that the Earth is in fact cooling at the moment, or any other measure of objective reality. For instance, that polar sea ice is on the increase.
Instead, let’s use “climate stations” set up in the middle of urban heat islands to “prove” the world is warming!
I have a feeling that common sense will prevail, and sooner rather than later. Climategate is certainly helping the cause.

You also need to forget that CO2 acting as a “greenhouse gas” also violates the laws of physics. Like Algore said, “We are in control, we can change the laws”.

If the earth has been cooling for the past 10 years, how can it be the warmest decade?
I believe if you place your thermometer in the middle of a concrete parking lot during the peak daytime summer temperatures and place your thermometer next to your warm home during the winter, one could conclude from the daily readings that the earth is warming considerably.
These people lie as easy as they speak there own name.
The second law of thermodynamics.................earth is cooling and it always will............
