Still: By mid-2010, Obama will have more than doubled the number of American troops in Afghanistan since he became president; he will have empowered his general, Stanley McChrystal, to fight the war pretty much as he thinks necessary to in order to win; and he will have retroactively, as it were, acknowledged that he and his party were wrong about the Iraq surge in 2007 -- after all, the rationale for this surge is identical to Bushs, and the hope is for a similar success. He will also have embraced the use of military force as a key instrument of national power.

Kristol is no conservative. He is an equivocating, sycophantic simp who works feverishly to be liked and thus preceived as ‘reasonable’, relevant to the debate. He has not recognized that the relevancy that is needed now is that tantamount to outright insurrection!
bttt
Ok so who do you trust because it seem this Trooper trusts Palin.
Brig Gen(R) Anthony J. Tata: Going Rogue Reveals Palins Ready to Lead
Big Hollywood ^ | 12-03-09 | Anthony J Tata
When I completed the journey that is Going Rogue, I wrote down five things:
She is a positive role model for all Americans She is an executive, takes on hard problems and makes tough decisions She has tremendous energy, balance and intellect America shafted itself in this last election Alaska is lucky to have her
Oh, and a sixth, Sarah Palin could be the next president of the United States.

ROTFLOL!
The Palin haters will go to any length to discredit her.
She may not have picked up but their relationship since then goes far beyond mere politeness. Most recently, she chose to sign this important joint appeal to Obama with him urging the prez to adopt the current policy of escalation. The other signers were a "who's who" necons including Frum and Podhoritz. Lest this be seen as overreaching on my part let ask a question: can anyone here name a single time (just once) that Sarah has parted ways since the election with the foreign policy of the neocons?
Oh...before anyone charges that I am calling Palin a neocon, I am not. On domestic policy, she is a fairly typical mainstream conservative with some apparent libertarian inclinations. On foreign policy, however, she is right out of neocon central casting.
I have not heard one instance of the two being allied. Where are you getting this information?
When you are stop laughing, we’d all appreciate it if you could enlighten me on how precisely (facts please) I am mistaken? Thank you.
I like Kristol better than his peers, at least he is a social conservative to some degree and he has the sense to love Palin.
I am crazy about Sarah like most old culture warrior white males here who ain’t big on women much but for moms and pals and wives and such.
So there....I’m ambivalent on Afghanistan right now
Glad to oblige. One of the most obvious examples is this joint letter that she signed along with Kristol, Podhoritz, Frum, Max Boot and virtually everyone else in the neocon universe. Since the election, revealingly Kristol and Podhoritz have both consistently praised Sarah in their columns. The official sponsor of the letter was he Foreign Policy Institute (FPI). Here is a brief description for FPI from the letter.
FPI is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that seeks to promote an active U.S. foreign policy committed to robust support for democratic allies, human rights, a strong American military equipped to meet the challenges of the 21st century, and global economic competitiveness. The organization is led by Executive Director Jamie Fly. FPI was founded by Robert Kagan, William Kristol, and Dan Senor.
Kristol? Conservative?
You say because Kristol supports her she can’t be trusted, that’s crazt.
Where in the article is Palin mentioned because I sure did not see it.
If you read Sarah’s speech from Hong Kong you would know she is not for nation building. Sarah is all about supporting the Troops and give them what ever they need to get the job done.
The question has to be asked. Do I think Sarah would’ve gone in to Iraq? NO, I do not.
Afganistan is a different story and Yes I think Sarah would’ve gone in and finished the job.
This is all post 9-11 by the way.
To start with Kristol is a ROMNEY GUY,
second, YOU DIDN”T ANSWER THE QUESTION.. WHO DO YOU TRUST?
Don’t attack Palin without disclosing who you support. I’m honest about who I support, and it’s Palin, not the pro abortion slick Willie known best for ROMNEY CARE.
If the committed US Forces break the ROEs and the socialist guidelines of Omamas "politically correct war" what Kristol says would be true.
But with all the peace corps working requirements, if US FOrces are bound in them, all that is being done is the creation of Vietnam II, a war of attrition.
Kritol does not seem to understand that politicians need to leave war to the professionals. War to Obama is just another political propaganda portal for his socialist programs at home and abroad.
Kristol is igorant of that fact.
Kristol is therefore STUPID.

Yeah, what you said!
