The Obama administration might think Climategate is a nonevent, but on Monday, Pennsylvania State University announced it was launching an investigation into the academic conduct of Michael Mann, director of the school's Earth System Science Center. Yesterday, it was announced that Phil Jones, director of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia, would step aside while his university conducts an investigation. With so much fraud being exposed in the academic community that studies and promotes global-warming theories, an example has to be made of someone.
There are dozens of researchers at other institutions involved in this scandal surrounding leaked e-mails that discuss covering up evidence of global cooling and destroying research that discounts global warming. For example, in the United States, the National Center for Atmospheric Research is in the thick of the e-mail chain. . . .

Don’t think the left will back off on this easily. This is the “gem quote” from a recent Eugene Robinson editorial:
” Most Americans are convinced that climate change is real -a necessary prerequisite for the kinds of huge economic and behavioral adjustments we would have to make to begin seriously limiting carbon emissions.”
Notice this KEY PHRASE: “huge economic and behavioral adjustments “
Robinson needs to amend his report. It should read, “Most Americans WERE convinced that climate change is real-, but not any longer”.
If you know 4 libs, ask them what they know about this.
3 of them won’t know anything about the scandal,
and all 4 of them will say it wouldn’t change their minds anyway.
Sadly, with Libs, stated intent and outcome don’t ever match because the stated intent is a lie in the first place.
So much for Mann-Made Global Warming...................
I ran across it in the doctor's office and it made my hair stand on end -- it's like a "Ten Most Wanted" poster of AGW methodology. I tried to buy that single issue but the publisher insisted I subscribe, which I wouldn't do.
“The Obama administration might think Climategate is a nonevent”.....
Sure!...try and sweep it under the rug!...Assclown Obama was just going to use the phony facts to tax the hell out of us!
Penn State SHOULD have investigated Mann when an independent commission found that his original work on the hockey stick was badly wrong. So badly wrong, in fact, that there were only two possibilities-—complete technical incompetence or scientific chicanery.
Many of these hoaxers received millions of dollars of US taxpayer’s money for their “research”. Shouldn’t they be prosecuted for fraud?
Not only for wholesale theft of “research dollars”,
but perhaps for “conspiracy to commit genocide”,
if you consider the “solutions” they were supporting with their “findings”.
Oh too true! Liberals never let facts get in the way of a good socialist utopia.
QUESTION AUTHORITY!
That’s a mantra that the youth of today should get behind. The Socialists who urged it the first time around in the 1960s are now the Establishment.
With this scandal, though, perhaps we can “pants” them.
To wit:
Oh, so you want to go through with your economy killing policies ANYWAY even though there are serious doubts about your entire reason for doing it? You want to curtail individuals’ use of energy ANYWAY?
Could it be that GW really didn’t matter to you at all? That you just wanted to control individuals’ behavior and consumption just because you’re a fascist a$$hole?
Well, the current administration and Congress certainly won't touch this. We as citizens should do the all-American thing and sue the crap out of them.
I can’t wait until the Global Warming War Crimes trials begin.
I expect our marxist indoctrination centers aka universities will quickly whitewash this whole sordid affair.
You think that PSU is going to do anything to this 'scientist' that is going to rebound negatively against the university? I don't. I've seen Penn State operate for many years. They are going to bury this.
Awwww come on — you can go to the Summit and shake hands with Al Gore for $1,209.00.
Such a deal, brought to you by Barnham and Bailey.
