Dearest rabs,
I have requested no more posting encyclopedias from you. You're filling up my "My Comments" page with clutter.
You have your groupthink pals around you for moral support. Post to them. They'll pat you on the back and help your flagging self-esteem.
Thanks.

You're a coward.

Nope. You started it. You end it.

I thought you already 'ended it' by 'surrendering'?

LOL, the Mad Puppy LIVES!

I don’t know what we are arguing about. I didn’t suggest anyone should support RINOs. I said RINOs lead to disaster just like democrats.

It may be hard to get the GOP back on track but it seems to be 1000% times easier than any other scenario for conservative government. Do you have another scenario? If conservatives can’t take over the Republican party they certainly can’t form a third party that would drive the GOP put of existence.

Those comments are breathtaking. They’d be hilarious if meant as satire.

Bush on a par with Reagan? John McCain led us in the right direction? I guess an R next the name is only qualification for greatness that is necessary in a commander in chief? WPIN? I have to disagree. I give low marks to the Bushes, Ford, Nixon, Ike, and Hoover.

Reagan and Coolidge were the last 2 good Presidents in my opinion. Who else left the nation in better shape than they found it? What other GOP Presidents left the GOP in better shape than they were at before he took office? The low regarded Warren Harding was apparently a much better President than most of his successors. Warren Harding the third best President of last 90 years. Take that Presidential historians. I wish we would return to normalcy in 2012 and nominate an ardent proponent of small government.

3rd parties ALWAYS lead to Democrat victories. They're historically a disaster for conservatism.

You are absolutely right. The only solution is to move the Republican party back to conservatism.

Thanks. Looking back Wpin looks to me like a conformist. He made these posts when such comments were popular on talk radio (not Rush thank goodness) and here even. After the election he starts complaining about McCain as the crowd does. I see very little original thoughts in his posts.

I am anti-conformist. Back before the election I was scared that if I was too tough on McCain, Id get kicked off here, so I did it carefully. Tried to warn election day would not be happy.

If wpin was a bit more polite, I would not of bothered.

George W. Bush

Integrity

Courage

Honor

Respect

Character

Morality

Loyalty

Humility

Humor

Faith

Love of family

Patriotism

Lover of and exemplary leader for our brave and honorable troops

Honor of the sanctity of LIFE and defender of the unborn

Understanding of his imperfections and weakness

Complete dependence on God for strength and wisdom

Unflagging defense of America in one of its darkest hours

Respect for the office of the Presidency

Sacrificing self and popularity to do the right thing

A far better man than those who despise and belittle him

Worthy of the respect of every patriotic American

Content that he served America with his whole heart, regardless of what his detractors say

I am PROUD to be attacked and maligned as a "Bushbot," and wear the label now, and ever, as a badge of honor.

"I heard once that one used to have to own land in order to vote. If true, it may not be a bad idea except that I'm in the military and don't own land. But, I bet everybody would invest in this land instead of mooching off of it if every voter had a personal stake in it."

That was the original intent. Universal suffrage was not a new thing when it was implemented in the U.S. It was known as 'democracy' in ancient times (Greece and Rome) and was simply mob rule. (e.g., 'Bread and Circuses' in ancient Rome.) It has taken a couple of hundred years to subvert the Constitution to the point that we now have 'mob rule' in the U.S., but the consequences are easy to recognize.

Basically the republic survives until the overwhelming mass of 'citizens' begins to vote themselves money out of the treasury in the belief that it is 'free'.

Honor of the sanctity of LIFE and defender of the unborn

Yes, because in order to "defend" the unborn, you have to saddle them with tens of thousands of Federal obligations from day one.

Some "defender."

#288 Is just a list of personal completely subjective connections OhioWbot feels with GWB. It may also be what many Americans felt post Sept 11/Pre-Iraq. But it is not useful to anyone else.

Her’s three great ideas she has posted here to connect with freepers:

1) for the constitution
2) Against Marxism
3) for conservatives in congress

Sounds great HUH? Don't ask what any of those mean.

Anyone who says that "Bush was our Carter" doesn't know a hill of beans about Carter.

I think you might have misunderstood me which is easy to do on here. Bush is twice the man Carter is and five times the patriot. However, I don't think Bush was very good example of a conservative president.

Bush was our Carter....plain and simple.

Carter was too much of a failure. LBJ had some accomplishments. Bush was somewhere in between.
