i don’t know him very well only meet him twice ,

i asked her where in the Constitution dose obama have to mandate I- you - or any one from MUST BUY any thing .

Erin said they make you buy car insurance by law so this is no different ,,,,,

i said not true you only have to buy it if you want to drive a car , you can walk with no insurance no problem

i ended it by telling her to look things up like i do ,

I don’t just take one side of things i look at both sides , and see what pile has the fly’s on it , and go from there , hell some times there fly’s on both of them

Under her logic, we should be required under penalty of law to always carry homeowner insurance (flood, fire, and theft). There would be no more need for a bailout or emergency funding to help people recover from wildfires, floods, tornados, hurricanes, or break-ins.

Also require life insurance for anyone with kids. If a man can be required to provide SSN information just to PROVE he isn’t a deadbeat dad when he goes to get a driver’s license, BOTH parents can be required to carry a safety nest egg to provide for their kids if they should die prematurely.

“...prestigious Climatic Research Unit..”

Oh, really now?

“It is an important step to ensure that CRU can continue to operate normally..” —Phil Jones, (erstwhile) director of the university’s Climatic Research Unit

You mean to defraud the public and governments of countless millions?

NO THANKS, you freak.

See what happens when public debate is silenced and there is a blacklisting and a smear campaign against those “traitors” who are “global climate change deniers!”?

There is global climate change. Every day. Every year. Every century. The planet rotates, tilts, and orbits a giant thermonuclear fireball in the sky.

Some examples of significant periodic global climate change that are NOT man-made are known as “night”, “day”, “winter”, “spring”, “summer”, and “fall”. Some longer trends have been called “an ice age”.

It is quack science to insist that Western civilization is killing the planet and that we require a socialist redistribution of trillions of dollars from the West to the Third World.
++++++++++++++++

Good points all! It is political correctness (and quackery at that), gone MAD.

re: Michael Mann:

http://www.usnews.com/blogs/paper-trail/2009/11/30/penn-state-will-investigate-climategate.html

“The Penn State administration plans to investigate Climategate and determine if it needs to take further action, the Daily Collegian reports. A little more than a week ago, E-mails exchanged among an English university’s climate change researchers were illegally obtained from a server and posted online, the report says.”

Climate change opponents say the E-mails indicate that climate change researchers—including Penn State Prof. Michael Mann—exaggerated or fabricated global warming data. And, according to the report, some E-mails indicate that the director of the research unit in question may have contacted researchers and asked them to “delete certain E-mails.”

Penn State officials, who will not discuss the matter, are investigating the controversy.”

Wow, I wonder if US News was this guarded whilst making allegations against Bush/Cheney/Halliburton/Iraq war policy review, et al.

I know the answer to that silly question.

We’re now glimpsing into the heart of the beast (the RAT press with their sacrosanct/’holy’ agenda.)

There needs to be a freeze on their access to the existing files so that there is no coverup of the full level of deceit.

If you step back and think about it, the "raw data" CRU says has been discarded must exist somewhere on their computers, since it's the data being manipulated in such files as "Harry_Read-Me.txt."

It's probably characterized as "lost" because it's release would show just how the "raw data" has been warped and mangled to suit political objectives.

So, yes, there should be an objective forensic examination of the UEA CRU computers -- but the British government is so invested in AGW that this scandal is hardly being reported there. The chance of an honest investigation is minimal.
