President Obama's climate czar, Carol M. Browner, claims that Climategate is not important and that global warming is settled science. "[The U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has] been studying this issue for a very long time and agree this problem is real," she said last week, six days after the scandal first broke about fudged global-warming research.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs repeated the claim yesterday. This obtuseness exposes the Obama administration's complicity in aiding and abetting the fraud involved to stir up climate-change hysteria.
Responsibility for continuing to perpetuate this scandal goes all the way to the top. Mr. Obama ignored and thus belittled the controversy when he announced that he would be attending the upcoming Copenhagen global warming conference on Dec. 7. Unfortunately, the Obama administration is disregarding the fact that the very people caught up in Climategate are the very same ones who wrote the U.N. climate report that will form the basis of discussion at Copenhagen.
Ms. Browner might believe that there is no debate among scientists about global warming, but the lengths to which the authors of the U.N.'s IPCC controversial assessment report were willing to go belies that the science on the subject is anything but settled. For example, Phil Jones, head of the Climatic Research Unit at the influential University of East Anglia, wrote in an e-mail: "I can't see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin [Trenberth] and I will keep them out somehow - even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!" Mr. Jones and Mr. Trenberth, head of the Climate Analysis Section at the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research, were contributing authors to the United Nations report.

There is no man made global warming. Global warming is a lie. So-called "scientists" are the climate change inquisitors who tow Obama's climate change line. Al Gore is the high-priest of them all. History, if not the American voters, will condemn them forever.
And Americans should know that globalwarmingclimatechange politics is killing our economy.
Browner thinks global warming is settled science, but she misses the point entirely that it is unsettled politics.

Climategate-the fleecing of America
Thanks to Google or other search engines, you can easily see how a story is promoted/reported... or not. The MSM can decide what is news, and they have decided that Climategate is most definitely not news - or at least, it is not news that they wish to report.
This test searches a number of leading news sites for the term "climategate". This test is quite revealing, for on the left-wing sites where it appears - which are very few - it is either in an opinion column, where it is disparaged or in a blog comment posted by a reader that somehow escaped the censors.
I have constructed a chart to show actual numerical results according to Google site searches done today (Dec. 1, 2009).
Using Google, you can do a simple test to immediately see press bias by searching each site individually for the term, and simply counting the number of results pages.
For example, to search CNN for the term "climategate" simply type the following into Google and see the results:

While CNN has ZERO pages on Climategate, they have more than 10 about the Whitehouse Gatecrashers.
There are about 39 hits in a search for Newsweek, but they are all people arguing about it in forums or disparaging it.
I have included the "Huffington Post" in this study as it reveals quite a lot actually. The "Huffington Post" is a left-wing Liberal blog/site where the left-wingers chat amonst themselves. As you can see, the term is quite widespread on the left's own favorite blog, however, you would never know that the word was even a part of the contemporary lexicon if you relied solely upon the MSM for your information and news. "Climategate" appears more than 6,500 times in the Huffington post, but not once on any of the major MSM news sites.

And yes, it is a swindle- a fraud and a cheat and a scam-- a deliberately designed construct intended to con you out of things you hold dear-- money, prosperity, freedom... and a few other things, as well.
