SEATTLE -- The suspect in the fatal shooting of four officers in Parkland was not found inside a Seattle home that was surrounded by a SWAT team and numerous officers, Pierce Co. Sheriff Detective Ed Troyer said.
Maurice Clemmons, 37, was believed to be holed up in the home in the Leschi neighborhood after he was shot and wounded by one of the four slain officers before fleeing from the Parkland coffee shop where the officers were gunned down.

“Maybe they should try looking for him at Huckabees house.”
Talk about poetic justice ;-)
And to think that they are doing all of this under the stress of having 4 of their comrades murdered.
The one cop going into the nearby clinic (to Yesler) just to check it out, talk with the doctor. Dispatcher is always asking if they want backup. Sometime yes. This guy said “Nah - I’m just going to talk with the folks.” But - I’m sure his nerves were on edge when he opened the door.
God bless these cops.
I share your frustration and anger. Just like the Ft. Hood slaughters, this one was preventable too. Neither should have ever happened, but here we are again and basically, for the same reasons.
I didnt vote for Huck but that is a pretty asinine thing to say, even for you.
Maybe he’s found his true calling? I like Huck just fine as a talk show host.
Agree. Having gunned down 4 fellow officers, I'd say a pretty good chance Seattle won't have to incur the cost of a trial on this one.
See, the thing is, if it even *nicked* the intestines, then the shi-ite leaks out and yeah, everything gets real infected, real fast then.
Info just on Police Scanner that one officer has found still wet blood, and alot of it leading into Cowen Park. They are frustrated no K9 units are on scene yet. They are now going in on foot.
From Twitter:
“Listening scanner, reports are they found a trail of “liquid” blood leading into Cowen Park from near a bus stop.”
YEah, Kimberly Guilfoyle was complaining to a detective about him having been given bail, but $15000 is still quite a lot to come up with - somebody had to come up with it. I doubt if relatives did. I don’t know why, but I doubt it. If we never hear any more about it, I think we’ll know the reasonwhy.
One report on Twitter has him having a Twitter account.
“Twitter is over capacity.
Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.”
Just Great. Along with the scanner giving all the info. the guy has twitter. I wonder if the “Twitter is overloaded” is just for this activity.
Sounds like they are still tracking recent sightings in the South Seattle area as well (SW of Yesler).
Some think the Twitter account is a fake with his name on it.
I suppose if he signed up yesterday it might be suspicious huh? I wonder if Twitter has the equivilent of the Viking Kitties?
From Twitter:
“Police searching 4 green 1997 Mazda Millenia, Wa plate 208-SSX. Reg’ed 2 suspect’s wife, may be going 2 Arkansas. See/ call 911”
Now, go back to frying squirrels in the popcorn popper, Huck-boy.
It’s getting crazy out there. From Twitter:
“SPD reporting vigilantes starting to show up near search area with body armor and guns...”
“civilian in body armour and with multiple firearms stopped in area “
“Cop near Cowen gets flagged down by citizen vigilante w/pistol + body armor”
Twitter:
“per scanner: civilian with pistols and CPL wearing “body armor” stopped near cowen park in truck. calm down people”
