WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured when he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree outside of his Isleworth home early on Friday morning, officials said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods was seriously injured and taken to Health Central Hospital. The Orange County Fire Department confirmed that a patient was taken to Health Central, but would not confirm that the patient was Woods.
Woods was driving a 2009 black Escalade, FHP said. He hit a fire hydrant outside of his home and a tree outside his neighbor's home.
FHP said the crash is still under investigation.

“I was watching Suzanne Malveaux on CNN earlier this evening and she stated Elin heroically tried to extract Tiger from the car by smashing the windows of the Escalade with his driver! Oh, man. I guess we know how he got the lacerations.”
Was Malveaux able to keep a straight face when she said that? “Rescued” him from an accident that the police say caused minor damage to the vehicle? How about just opening the door? My guess is the back window being broken by a golf club was the reason behind the accident; Tiger trying to get the heck out of Dodge and didn’t quite make it.
Good point... I’d prefer to believe that David Boreanaz is a little smarter than that as well... But then I don’t keep track of things like this, really. I like them for their work - not their personal lives. Of course, I don’t idolize ANY of these folks! LOL

I don't know much about Garth Brooks other than he's famous and lives around here. But, people around here do seem to have a good opinion of him as a person. I just get that from talking to a lot of locals and hearing what they have to say (whenever the subject comes up). He sounds like a "down-home ole Okie" who people really like...
I guess the locals run into him all the time around here, and he's just out and about, in and amongst people and doesn't make it a big deal.
I've also got a couple of different relatives that live adjacent to his property, but you can't see his house because he's way back in on about 1,300 acres of land... :-)
At least some news is asking what on earth the wifey was doing with a golf club in her hand at an accident scene 75 yards from the house. Did she 1) run back to get the club insteaad of just opening the door since the police say the vehicle had just minor damage or 2) have it in her hand as she heard the accident which prompts the question “why” or 3) was chasing him with it and had already broken out the back window which prompted his flight and accident.
Not sure which pictures you are talking about, but in the photo of her and David B. she looks at least 10 years younger than the side by side on that one blog page linked on this thread... Kind of hard to age that much in a MONTH... She’s prettier than she appears, but also judging from the one picture of her in the black and white dress, she’s definitely NOT classy... (One really should wear a bra, or at least “pasties” when wearing a skin tight white top - She might as well be topless in the photos, really...)

He has more than one home. He bought a place in Jupiter, FL and tore it down and has been in the process of building another house on the property. It’s my understanding that he’s been staying at the Orlando house until the new one is built.
What I find odd is that the picture of her and David Boreanz from last month... You can’t age 20 years in a month, ya know? I agree that the Enquirer photo definitely makes her look like she’s not only had collagen injections in her lips (lots of women do that), but it looks like she’s had several eye lifts or something in that picture...
I wouldn’t doubt if the picture you just put up wasn’t doctored to make her look even more skanky! Besides airbrushing to make people look better, we all know the media sometimes does it to make people look WORSE (especially if you’re the “villain” in the story like she obviously is set up to be... y’know, like a; “poor Tiger...” kind of an article...). Remember when they doctored Condoleeza Rice’s eyes in that AP photo a few years back and made her look like a possessed demon? ;)
Of course, a few more picture of her over the last few months and not grainy copies blown up for the cover of the tabloids would be a better way to judge this...

Tiger and wife are arguing about his affair. She takes her nails to his face and claws him up but good. He runs outside for the cover of the SUV and to leave, and she comes out of the house chasing him with one of his golf clubs... She then smashes out the glass in the SUV with the club (with him in the car).

This sounds like a VERY plausible story to me — Can’t condone violence, but if I were here I probably would’ve done the same thing if the rumors were true and I was in her position!!! [Have to admit it’s kind of sweet that she went after him with one of his own clubs!!!]
I believe the “Charges Pending” might be domestic assault and SHE will probably be charged... So sad that this has happened to what seemed like a wonderful family.

Tiger has always had trouble hitting the driver. However, it seems that his wife has no problem hitting the driver. Especially when the driver is her husband!

Of course and when I mentioned it to my family they said it was a ridiculous assumption. The fact that charges were pending pointed to his wife or perhaps drug related. Well according to TMZ not so ridiculous at all.
