Michelle and I would like to send our best wishes to all those performing Hajj this year, and to Muslims in America and around the world who are celebrating Eid-ul-Adha. The rituals of Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha both serve as reminders of the shared Abrahamic roots of three of the worlds major religions.
During Hajj, the worlds largest and most diverse gathering, three million Muslims from all walks of life including thousands of American Muslims will stand in prayer on Mount Arafat. The following day, Muslims around the world will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha and distribute food to the less fortunate to commemorate Abrahams willingness to sacrifice his son out of obedience to God.
This year, I am pleased that the Department of Health and Human Services has partnered with the Saudi Health Ministry to prevent and limit the spread of H1N1 during Hajj. Cooperating on combating H1N1 is one of the ways we are implementing my administration's commitment to partnership in areas of mutual interest.
On behalf of the American people, we would like to extend our greetings during this Hajj season Eid Mubarak.

No doubt in my mind where Obama’s religious sympathies lie.
Almost a year since he was sen in a Christian Church.
Now dont get me wrong ,I think that is fine. He doesn’t belong in a Christian Church anyway.

It really makes one want to puke!!! Thanks to the majority of ignorant American voters, we’ve allowed our country to be high-jacked by a bunch of Chi-town Marxist thugs.
LOL! That’s a keeper. :)
May Piss be upon Mohammads Head
May Piss be upon ObamaRamaDingDong the long legged MacDaddy Dung Pile
??!
I wonder how long FDR would have lasted if he had sent such a message to Hitler. ;0)
Mount Arafat???
The next day they will return to their regularly scheduled tasks of distributing beheadings, bullets, and explosions to the INFIDELS!
How's that pardon for Maj. Hasan working out, bro?
No cheers, unfortunately.
“Trying to remember....did he do this on the National Day of Prayer also?”
Of course, He chanted the lord’s prayer from the National Cathedral . It was not covered by Fox and Friends so I did not have the opportunity to puke up my breakfast of Bacon and eggs fried in Lard with a side dish of “skins” washed down by a quart of lumpy “buttermilk”.

“Almost a year since he was sen in a Christian Church”
Actually, there was a thread here a couple of months ago that said that he has attended a small chapel that apparently is on the grounds at Camp David.
Mercifully, the military pastor of that chapel is a CONSERVATIVE Christian. The previous thread included some comments that we should all pray that our Lord of miracles somehow touch O’s evil heart.
Anything is possible.
How dare he speak on behalf of the America people! I wish we could drop a nuke in the middle of Mecca!
No mention of the special message that Muslims are obligated to give to those in dar al-harb’ (the land of war): convert, submit or die.

I send holiday greetings to all Muslims celebrating Eid al-Adha.
During Eid al-Adha, Muslims around the world reflect on Abraham’s unwavering faith and his trust in God when asked to sacrifice his son. These four days are a time for Muslims to honor Abraham’s obedience by celebrating with family and friends and showing gratitude for the many blessings bestowed by God. This holiday also helps ensure the important values of compassion and devotion are passed on to future generations.
America is a land of many beliefs, and our society is enriched by our Muslim citizens. The kindness, generosity, and goodwill displayed by American Muslims during this special occasion and throughout the year have contributed to the strength and vitality of our Nation. May all those observing Eid al-Adha find love and warmth during this joyous holiday.
Laura and I send our best wishes for a memorable celebration.
