Off the List, But Somehow on the South Lawn (Security Breach at Obama White House)

Tareq and Michaele Salahi

SNIP

"Honored to be at the White House for the state dinner in honor of India with President Obama and our First Lady!" one of them wrote on their joint Facebook page at 9:08 p.m.

SNIP

While the White House offered no official explanation, it appears to be the first time in modern history that anyone has crashed a White House state dinner. The uninvited guests were in the same room as President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, although it is unknown whether they met the Obamas and the guest of honor.

SNIP

Donovan said a preliminary internal investigation Wednesday identified "a Secret Service checkpoint which did not follow proper procedure to ensure these two individuals were on the invited guest list." He declined to give further details. An administration official said the White House will conduct its own review.

SNIP

Later, they posted pictures that seem to chart their course through the night: Michaele posing with Marines outside near the White House doors, and with Katie Couric and Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.) inside the mansion. In the East Room, the Salahis both cozied up to D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty and his wife, Michelle.

But the best was yet to come: Once inside the dinner tent, they got pictures that appeared to show them with ABC's Robin Roberts, Bollywood composer AR Rahman, PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, Obama Chief of Staff Emanuel (identified as "Ron" in the couple's Facebook photo caption) and two with a grinning vice president. The photos end there -- no shots of the Salahis sitting at a table, their seatmates or the post-dinner entertainment.

Wonder how he’s going to explain this to the Prime Minister. I’d think that they, and any other heads of state, might think twice about visiting Obama.

On a side note, for anyone who missed it....Glenn used the blackboard to do a presentation comparing all the kinds of parties the Obama’s have been hosting since taking office vs. the decline of the economy & jobs!...I was shocked how many!!

This is a big deal. I don’t give a rat’s ass WHO is in the WH and whether I like them or not. This is a MAJOR security breach and someone should be held accountable.

Yep. A very soft underbelly. As they could prove (or test as the case might be) with Major Hasan and multiple times he could have been stopped, including and up to getting just feet away from the Israeli Ambassador to the USA. Political correctness tells your mind to "shut up!", when another, more naturally suspicious voice in your mind says "hey, that guy looks like a Muslim, and seems out of place and odd, I wonder what he is doing here. I think I will chat him up and see what the story is on him."

I also found this on Tareq Salahi (father is Palestian, mother is Belgian) in terms of political contributions. Seems like his a BIG Democratic contributor, but also has played the other side of the street, with about a 80/20 split in his contributions in Virginia over the years:

Campaign Contribution(s) Totaling $35,123 Campaign Contributions Committee $18,308 Moran for Delegate - Brian $6,315 Katzen for Lt Governor - Jay $5,500 Kaine for Governor - Tim $2,500 Del Toro for Delegate - Carlos $1,500 Deeds for Attorney General - Creigh $1,000 One Virginia PAC

He didn’t get in by accident, and I’ll bet we’ll find out that he’s been there before. He’s a big pro-”Palestinian” activist and run some kind of foundation related to this.

No need for poison darts. They went to a dinner where knives and forks were easily available.

“Everyone who enters the White House grounds goes through magnetometers and several other levels of screenings,” said Ed Donovan, a spokesman for the Secret Service. “That was the case with the state dinner last night. No one was under any risk or threat.”

Well, from the recent book by Kessler, it was revealed that there have been incidences that not all crowds have gone through magnometers. In one of those instances, George W. Bush was nearly killed when a man in a crowd in Tbilisi, Georgia (former Soviet Republic) threw a grenade wrapped in a scarf, which landed near the podium where the President was speaking. It didn’t go off.

Kessler’s book stated Secret Service is getting drained working overtime and expanded hours protecting both more government officials below the Commander in Chief, and more relatives.

Obama is safe.

The Leftards and Muzzies will never take out one of their own...The Right doesn’t do assassinations...However, we will do impeachment and a treason trial for Comrade Obama at some point in the future.

Actually Obama himself is the biggest security risk to the United States of America.

Exactly. It can't get much worse than having a MARXIST MUSLIM AMERICA-HATING FAGGOT ILLEGAL ALIEN as POTUS.....with quick access to our launch codes. Way to go Jim Jone's America.

They didn’t allow anything. These are cast members of a new reality show. Who ever the network or the producers are got them cleared ahead of time or they wouldn’t have gotten though the gate let alone on the grounds. Even if it was done at last minute someone on the senior WH staff authorized their entry onto the WH grounds. There is a check point when they entered the grounds where everyone in the car had to be on a list, at the arrival point, when they entered the WH proper, etc. Someone on the senior WH staff approved it. My guess is the producer or network is a major contributor. Even then the Secret Service wouldn’t have let them in without checks unless of course POTUS or his wife or maybe Rambo Dead Fish Emanuel called and authorized it.

Uninvited guests and a slip-up by the Secret Service.

For the first time in a year, I have “hope.”
