Sarah Palin not anti-choice enough?
A far right group claims the former Alaska governor's rhetoric on abortion sounds too "liberal" and "pro-choice"
BY KATE HARDING
In Salon today, Max Blumenthal writes of Sarah Palin, "her career has become a vehicle through which the right-wing evangelical movement feels it can express its deepest identity in opposition both to secular society and to its representatives in the Obama White House. Palin is perceived by its leaders -- and followers -- not as another cynical politician or even as a self-promoting celebrity, but as a kind of magical helper, the God-fearing glamour girl who parachuted into their backwater towns to lift them from the drudgery of everyday life, assuring them that they represented the 'Real America.'" That's an astute (and incredibly disturbing) assessment of how many right-wing evangelicals perceive Palin -- but some of them aren't so impressed. The 527 group American Right to Life has compiled a "prolife profile" of Sarah Palin that describes her as a cynical politician indeed, a fake anti-choicer whose "words and actions prove that she is officially pro-choice and stands against the God-given right to life of the unborn."

Nobody asked, nobody cared.
race42008.com published an article last week identifying Americans for Right To Life, an Iowa group called "Huckabee's Iowa firewall", as the source for these smears.
Interestingly, that article has been pulled at that website. I referenced it last week here.
Sorta says it all, doesn't it?
“”But I'm a superstitious man. And if some unlucky accident should befall him - If he should get shot in the head by a police officer, or if he should hang himself in his jail cell - or if he's struck by a bolt of lightning, them I'm going to blame some of the people in this room, and that I do not forgive.”
So the first thing I do when I see such an obvious attempt to split Sarah Palin from the conservative base, at a radical left wing site like Salon, is to ask a few questions:
# 1. How much money is this 527 outfit(American Right to Life) getting from George Soros and his left wing pals?
# 2. How many phone calls has this outfit taken from Axelrod and Rham Emmanuel?
You Betcha! Damned if he doesn’t respect America to at least Salute!. Have you EVER known a president with such contempt for America and the Office?
It goes back to the Judge Sarah appionted who was for adaption and was strong anti-enviromentalist vs. pro growth. This is just a rehash of that fight again. People are rehashing old sh!t as if it was new.
If pro-life = anti-choice, then pro-choice = anti-life, right?
Looks like the Huckster is behind it, see up thread...
I was trying to find the part in her book where she talked about her court appointment, but I couldn’t find it. She explains in the book that she only has a few possible choices to choose from and she selected the best possible choice. All the possible choices were soft on Abortion. She has to explain the fact to an angry preacher who was a previous supporter. After she spoke with the preacher he came around to understanding her position.
You would be right! Here’s the link to the podcast of a radio interview on WHO; Deace interviewing one of the leaders of this organization. They hold George W. Bush accountable for the murder of 3.3 million babies...they have devised a calculator.
Much of the interview is spent bashing Palin. Deace is a huge Huckabee supporter and a large part of the reason that he won Iowa...hours of free friendly press every single day.

Not “Pro-Life”.
Not “Anti-Abortion”.
But “Anit-Choice”.
Nope. No media bias here!
Let’s put the shoe on the other foot:
Leftists are “Anti-Life”.
If the shoe fits, wear it.
This is nothing but Divide and Conquer, “ahem”, Journalism.
Maybe, I really don’t know. But I do know that Mitt did a number on Thompson, lied about Reagan, and through his underlings, has been doing multiple numbers on Sarah Palin since the day McCain chose her as his running mate.
The populist Huckabee’s treacherous behavior appears all the more reprehensible because on the surface he seems more genuine compared with Romney, but the depth and pervasive extent of Romney’s devious behavior has a more damaging effect.
Which one is worse? They both stink.
Agree!
there you go, so she has answered the legal aspect of it and yes she’s a libertarian on this. She would counsel others to be pro-life, but not force them
well, look at the kattie couric interview answer. Theres a full quote on this thread. Her response is libertarian
