Obviously traumatised by that infamous email leak from East Anglia which revealed the unedifying spin tactics of some of the climate change lobby’s most influential spokesmen (news of which has gone round the world faster than any super-polluting passenger jet), the Global Warming Party opens another front.
Climate change policies are good for your health. According to a series of articles specially commissioned by the Lancet, such measures as cutting carbon emissions and reducing livestock production could bring significant improvements in the general health and well-being of the world’s populations. Reducing carbon emissions would improve air quality. Increased walking and cycling would reduce cardio-vascular disease. Cutting down livestock production would result in less consumption of meat – and hence lower the amount of fat in the diet. Clearly, these are all perfectly plausible statement in themselves. There is only one problem: almost all of these desirable effects could be accomplished without the devastating economic consequences which sudden imposition of the Global Warming agenda would bring.

The need to control carbon emissions because they lead directly to global warming is the single most important plank of the climate change campaign: there is little question that reducing air pollution would be a good thing for many other, unrelated reasons but they do not add to the justification for an immediate clampdown on economic growth of the kind that the AGW lobby is promoting.

Bringing us back to the Bronze Age, when life expectancy was about 35 years, 10% of women died in childbirth, and medicine consisted of superstitious ritual, bleeding, and leeches will do a lot for our health.
These people are bent.

For those of you “not up to snuff” on Medical Journals, Lancet has been the most left leaning medical journal. The scandal as it has broken has given me great hope that folks will learn the cliques which make up the elites of many disciplines scratch each others backs. I cannot tell you how many times I sat behind my desk as some absolutely wonderful person with cancer showed me the latest “cure” which was true nonsense. Don’t think the good old boys club doesn’t exist everywhere. I wish I could remember their names but one of the physicians who discovered the Radio Immunoassy which revolutionized medicine had rejection letters all over her office wall and, in the center was the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
In third world nations extreme poverty means no electricity and all the vagaries that accompany no electricity like no refrigeration for food and medicine storage, cooking and heating must be done with sources which are proven health risks when the smokes are inhaled, especially by children and pregnant women, and power to run ore refinement processes is absent so industrial development which can raise people out of extreme poverty via employment and the subsequent income that derives.
Leftists whine that they care about the little people, but in reality, when the effects of their fascist agenda is examined in detail, it is about power at the expense of hundreds of millions to be sacrificed for the collective run by a small cadre of liars. Anthropogenic global warming is a great hoax. The lies accompanying this global hoax literally cause death and devastation in order to make al goron a billionaire in carbon credits trading.
This cold anti-huamn state of leftists should not surprise us by now, they have supported, defended, and encouraged world-wide the slaughter of hundred millions of alive unborn, as a means to empower their political capital! The current liar-in-chief even forces American taxpayers to help pay for this obscenity, this wickedness. And that's the deeper key to this: the left is morally bankrupt and the current occupant of the oval office is a wicked man surrounding himself with like-wicked people who are more than willing to not just tell US lies but to create lies to promote this great lie of anthropogenic global warming.
Wickedness grows through lies and deception. The Pres_ _ent and his henchghouls are talented liars using any means to take control over every aspect of your life. Their lies are all about empowering a force which hates humankind, who is a murderer from the start.

Reminds me of when the justification for the Federal mandated 55 mph speed limit went from “saving gas” during the oil embargo to “saving lives” to justify its continuation.

Medical journals have been left-leaning for a while, especially when it comes to the gun debate. Remember that one in the 90s about how most people killed by guns are close family and friends? Turned out to be BS.

I don’t think this information leak is going to change anything. Everyone who has examined the AGW issue, for “for” and “against,” already knew it was a total fraud; now we’ve just had it confirmed for us. But watch - the agenda will go on, with even more energy now. Why wouldn’t it? There’s good money still to be made, and much social change to leverage from it.
Key to understanding how the left could think they were going to get away with a lie of such monstrous proportions is their reliance on postmodern semiotic theory in which ALL data from the mundane grocery list to the product of the NSA’s electronic traffic analysis, is considered to be “text”., that is to say, a “story”. Scientific method to them is a “story” with no derivation from a set of universal principles or absolutes. They carry relativism into a worship of the subjective which makes the observations of the insane as worthy of consideration in problem solving as the observations of dials and gauges. They are conscious and witting in their self-induced delusions and are basically automatons fueled by the opinion of their peers/clones. They are basically taking a crap on the 5,000 year struggle for civilization

During the Clinton years I watched some medical guy talk to a room full of colleagues and attorneys. He talked about anti-gun tactics and offered one of his solutions. He made an analogy between the famous (to them) Broad Street pump in the English Cholera outbreak, with firearms ownership. He used maps to equate the spread of violence with the spread of cholera in London. (As gun ownership rippled out, so did violence.) Utter rubbish, yet these "learned" people nodded wisely and scribbled furiously. That was it for me and any lingering respect for the so-called medical "intelligentsia".
