Obama climate czar has socialist ties
Group sees 'global governance' as solution

Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available.

Computer hackers have obtained 160 megabytes of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit...

There is no evidence of hackers. The FOIA file was likely assembled by CRU internally in response to a FOIA request and inadvertently left on an open ftp site when it couldn't be emailed as an attachment. CRU was already revealed as careless in their alleged AGW research and data archiving. Less plausible, an FOIA-protected whistle blower may have released the file.

Seriously, the entire US media establishment doesn’t have anybody free righ tnow to cover this story. They are all tied up at the moment, bashing Sarah Palin. If they can spare an intern or two, they might put one on this insignificant story.

I would even go so far as to suggest a ‘Nuremberg Trials’ type of international operation to deal with this fraud. A message needs to be clearly sent, that deceit on such subjects of international import will not be tolerated.

If we were living in the country in which we were born in, maybe. But this country which still goes by the name United States of America hardly resembles that at all.
